What languages ??can you learn at the School of Foreign Languages, Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai Branch?

Currently there are the Department of English and the Department of Japanese. The Department of English has three majors: Business English, English Education, and General English. The double majors are English and Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.

There are also Japanese, French, Spanish and German (seemingly Russian?) as second foreign languages.

If I remember correctly, a second foreign language and a double major are not the same concept at all. Double majors will award double major degrees, such as double majors in Chinese as a foreign language and English. But a second foreign language is to incorporate another foreign language course into the required courses for majors, allowing you to master another foreign language at an entry level and paving the way for your future self-study. To put it bluntly, you want to learn a foreign language through a second foreign language. The idea of ??a separate language is naive (unless you put in the extra effort to teach yourself).

For example, our current 08-level students only studied the second foreign language in their junior year, and there were only four classes a week. I studied Japanese, and the Japanese level is from level 5 to level 5. I worked very hard to learn Japanese for Level 1. After a year, I couldn't pass Level 2 and barely passed Level 3. . . .

Furthermore, Spanish in our college seems to be newly opened this year. The teachers, courses and other settings should not be perfect, so it should not be included in the double major and can only be studied as a second foreigner.
