The company, formerly known as Wuhan No.3 Pharmaceutical Factory, was approved by Wuhan Economic System Reform Commission "Wu Ti Gai [1993] 189" and was established by directional fundraising. On March 20, 2004, it was approved by the Notice of China Securities Regulatory Commission on Approving the Public Offering of Wuhan Ma Yinglong Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. (Zheng Jian Yao Zi [2004] No.40) and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on May 17, 2004. The Company was reviewed and approved by the 2007 annual general meeting of shareholders, and changed its name from Wuhan Ma Yinglong Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. to Ma Yinglong Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. on May 6, 2008.
