What are the mold classifications of silicone rubber products? I want to do it and find a manufacturer to do it.

Silicone rubber products, which are made of silicone rubber as raw material and vulcanized by oil pressure with molds at high temperature and high pressure, are called silicone rubber molded products. Silicone rubber products are used in many industries, such as automobile industry, household necessities industry, electronics industry, medical industry and so on. Making these silicone rubber products requires opening different molds for production and processing. Therefore, it is very important in the design of silicone rubber mold. Silicone rubber mold should be analyzed and designed according to the characteristics of product structure and performance. Choosing the best material and precise size can ensure the efficiency and service life of the mold and its effectiveness.

Of course, the molding methods of silicone rubber products are different, which can be divided into three categories: filling molding, injection molding and injection molding.

First of all, talk about filling silicone rubber mold: the so-called filling mold in the industry is made by filling silicone rubber raw materials into the mold and then heating and vulcanizing it with a flat vulcanizer. It is worth noting that filling molds can be divided into three types:

1. Open mold filling: The biggest advantage of this mold is its low cost and simple structure; However, this kind of mold is easy to cause the loss of raw materials, and it is relatively large, and there will be the problem of difficult exhaust. Therefore, experienced engineers are needed to handle this mold.

2. Closed mold filling: this mold has a feeding cavity and the upper mold is oriented, so there will be no loss of raw materials in the high-temperature pressing process of silicone products, but the pressure of rubber material is high, resulting in the advantages of high product density and relatively less rubber consumption. But at the same time, there is also the problem of difficult exhaust, which requires high mold accuracy and high mold opening cost.

3. Semi-closed filling mold: The advantage of this type of mold is that it is easy to exhaust, and there is no problem of excessive rubber loss; But there is a problem of poor liquidity.

Finally, talk about the injection mold. The principle of this mold is to put the silicone rubber raw material into the compression cavity, and use the pressure transmitted by the plunger to press the silicone rubber raw material into the cavity through the glue injection port to obtain the silicone rubber product. So injection molding is the mold used by most manufacturers at present, because the silicone rubber products made by this mold have high density and stable quality, and are suitable for all kinds of complex silicone rubber parts.
