According to the "Tidal Flat Planning of Culture Waters in Wenchang City" promulgated and implemented by Wenchang City on July 30th, 20 18, Wenchang City has guided the orderly development of aquaculture, including the cultivation of Babylonia.

In the process of remediation of marine aquaculture pollution in Fengjiawan, Wenchang City selected the same area of land in Fengjiawan Modern Fishery Industrial Park by replacing the land use right, and replaced the collective land of villagers' groups that had been included in the reserve, so that villagers could continue to develop aquaculture, including snail farming, on the newly replaced land according to the planning requirements.
