Guangxi Vocational and Technical College of Electric Power was originally established by the Ministry of Electric Power Industry and headed by Guangxi Electric Power Industry Bureau. Now it is directly managed by Guangxi Education Department. The college was formerly known as Guangxi Electric Power Technical School and Nanning Electric Power School, and was founded in 1979. In 2004, with the approval of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, it was upgraded to a higher vocational and technical college. ?
