Brief introduction of Beijing Institute of Landscape Science

At present, Beijing Academy of Landscape Sciences has eight research laboratories, including trees, flowers, lawn ground cover, seedlings, landscape ecology, plant protection, plant nutrition and landscape design, and six research and development institutions, including achievement promotion department, pilot plant base, horticulture department, Beijing Keshi Garden Engineering Design Institute, Beijing Ke Mei Horticulture Co., Ltd. and Beijing Kewanglin Book Co., Ltd., with 28 doctors1kloc-0/person and 28 masters. There are 3 professors, 25 senior engineers and 36 engineers. It has strong technical strength in the introduction and breeding of new excellent garden plants, urban landscape ecology, rejuvenation technology of ancient trees, roof greening technology, digital landscape engineering, pest control, biodiversity protection and comprehensive water-saving technology of landscape greening. Since its establishment, it has won various science and technology awards 14 1, including 4 national science and technology awards, 52 municipal and ministerial science and technology awards and 85 bureau-level science and technology awards.

Beijing Academy of Landscape Sciences has initially established a relatively complete system for popularizing scientific and technological achievements, with an experimental base of 16 hectares and various greenhouses of 20,000 square meters. It has initially formed a joint scientific research team with universities, research institutes and production enterprises in Beijing, and an interactive and mutual assistance operation mechanism has accelerated the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. It has provided a series of new varieties, new technologies and new products of garden plants with independent intellectual property rights for the landscaping of the capital and the environmental construction of the Beijing Olympic Games, which has effectively promoted the progress of the landscaping industry and effectively improved the level of urban environmental construction, and at the same time made our institute gradually become the leading research center for landscaping in China.
