CGN, the first thing to state is that it is not a company, but a group company, which includes: operating company, engineering company, design company, Guangli Nuclear Power (Beijing), Nuclear Power Services, etc., but when recruiting people, Guangdong Nuclear Power will also help some other owner companies to recruit some people, such as Taishan owners, Hongyanhe owners, etc.

First of all, let’s talk about operations: The current main body of the operating company is in Daya Bay, Shenzhen, and the current main working location is also Daya Bay. However, with the construction of each branch base and the realization of the large-scale operation of the operating company, the working location will also change. It's too stable. It may be here in the past few years and somewhere else in a few years. In terms of remuneration, the operating company is the best. After all, the operating company is now equivalent to the owner company, and other CGN companies are equivalent to operators. His annual salary is as high as the legend says, and each department organizes outings every year. Training is relatively complete. Most employees have more than one year of training. This training may be before or during work.

The work pressure is relatively high. If you are engaged in operation, there will be a lot of training and examinations. The first two years are all examination training, and it will take about two years to officially operate. After seven years of operation, you may need to change jobs. Generally, an operator can work for up to seven years. During these seven years, you may have been thinking about those operation buttons while sleeping, because if you press the wrong one, you may be ruined in front of the CGN. It is said that those people sleep and dream about those buttons. Of course, as your exams and operating position levels increase, your salary will also increase. But some positions may be relatively free. In terms of promotion, because the company is full of talents, your promotion will be quite slow unless you have outstanding abilities. It is said that there are quite a lot of turtles and masters and Ph.D.s there. Generally, contracts are signed for five years, and it is difficult to get out after entering.

Engineering company: If you are a civil construction person, I think it is best to go to an engineering company. The engineering company is Guangdong Nuclear Power's largest contractor, including the construction of nuclear power plants, the procurement, installation and commissioning of nuclear equipment after completion. It can be said that all current projects of Guangdong Nuclear Power are done by engineering companies. But once you join an engineering company, you may not have a stable life, because the construction of a base only takes about seven or eight years. Remember it's just possible. As for the salary, you can get 3,000 yuan as a holiday bonus when you first come here, and there are subsidies for clothing, meals, communications, etc., but it is still not as good as the operation, after all, it is a contractor. But compared to other outside companies, it is definitely higher, as you can imagine. Training. Recently, there is training for about three months before joining the company. After you come, you will have a dedicated person to take care of the work. There may also be training arrangements at work. The training is definitely better than what is offered by outside companies. The work pressure is less than that of running a company, but sometimes it can be busy, depending on the specific department. Nuclear power services: I am a nuclear power service provider, so I am relatively clear about it. Last year, we recruited 21 people and lost three. This year, we hired 19 people and lost four. Some of these people left because they couldn't bear the disparity in treatment from engineering or operating companies. After all, some of my classmates were there. Our salary is about average that of engineering workers. If you enter the nuclear server this year, you will normally be assigned to the eastern part of Shenzhen Daya Bay, Yangjiang and the headquarters. The eastern part has the most important people and the headquarters has the least. If it is campus recruitment, the salary is: less than 3,000 yuan, reviewed once every six months, and one month's basic salary. There are no other benefits. There may be some or more other benefits at the headquarters. Don’t know a year from now. This treatment is considered good in the nuclear server. You sign for three years. After entering, you may want to get out. I originally planned to find a job within a week after I left, but I still haven't found a job in more than a month. Training, basically no, we had one, three days. After arriving, some people were escorted and some were not (a few). The pressure is very small. There are usually more or less people in nuclear servers, and there is often nothing to do. For example, there was a period of time when we had power outages on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, but we still worked normally. There was a blackout, so of course it was small talk. Even so, the week's work can still be completed. Promotion: People working in the nuclear service generally have low academic qualifications. Our company now has more than 70 people, and there are maybe five or six people with formal undergraduate degrees, including the boss. So as long as you work hard, you will be promoted quickly. Six of the people who came last year have been promoted to directors.

This is impossible in engineering and operations. He also became a department manager at the age of 29, which is quite powerful.

General Generally speaking, nuclear power plants are generally located in relatively remote places, and the working sites are relatively desolate. But on weekends, the company usually has a car to go to the city. For mature bases, it usually costs money to take the car, but the car is subsidized. For immature ones, it's free. The drive takes about an hour, and for us it took one and a half hours. If I settle down in the future, I will usually stay in the city, but under normal circumstances I will only go home on weekends. Our training was taught by a teacher. A friend of his works in Daya Bay and goes home once a week. He has to rest when he gets home because he is tired. I rarely play with my son, which makes him a bit sissy (my mother always takes care of him). This is what the training teacher said, but I don’t know the details.
