Social practice report of college students' winter vacation

How to cultivate professional quality

College: Student ID: Name:

Abstract: Today, with the emphasis on quality education, the school strongly encourages college students to use their holidays to do social practice activities. I used this winter vacation to go to the supermarket to sell bread. In the process of work, I learned the qualities that sales should have.

Keywords: social practice, quality education, bread sales

A leaf belongs to a season, and young students have splendid youth. Who says we are young and frivolous and can't stand the baptism of wind and rain? Who said that in the ivory tower, you don't listen to things outside the window, just read sage books? Can you leave the campus, bid farewell to the ivory tower and set foot on the society, live up to the expectations of the society and hand over a satisfactory answer sheet for your life?

Many years ago, the Ministry of Education advocated abandoning traditional education methods and vigorously advocating quality education. Today, with the emphasis on quality education, college students' holiday social practice, as an important measure to promote college students' quality education and guide them to become healthy talents, and as an important way to cultivate and improve their practical ability, innovation ability and entrepreneurial ability, has always been highly valued by major universities. Social practice is regarded by colleges and universities as an important way to cultivate outstanding talents with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique, beauty and labor. Appropriate participation and organization of social practice can help contemporary college students to better contact and understand society; At the same time, practice is also an effective way for college students to learn extracurricular knowledge and exercise their talents. Based on the idea of cultivating outstanding talents, the school actively advocates us to participate in social practice activities during holidays.

The university itself is a small society. When we step into the university, we have stepped into the society with one foot. From a certain point of view, society is a comprehensive university, which can cultivate people and test their abilities. Only with correct guidance can we get rid of the immaturity in the ivory tower, go deep into society, understand society and serve society. Only by devoting oneself to social practice can we find our hidden potential and shortcomings, make up for our shortcomings by using the remaining school time, develop our potential, and prepare for leaving school and stepping into society in the future; Only in this way can we learn useful things, grow in practice, grow in service, and reflect our own value in serving the society. The so-called "labor embodies value" is the truth.

In order to respond to the school's call to improve their quality and ability through social practice activities during the holidays, and to better learn some knowledge that can't be learned in the school classroom, the winter vacation has not yet begun, so I plan to find a job as a winter vacation worker. I majored in accounting and worked as a salesman the previous holiday. I found myself quite good at dealing with people, so I wanted to find a job to help people sell things in the mall. In this way, you can deal with people and learn the skills needed to communicate with them; You can also use the holiday to earn some money for future living expenses, kill two birds with one stone, why not?

/kloc-When I went home on the 20th of October, I began to pay attention to whether the supermarkets in the county town intended to recruit temporary workers. My home is in Yidu, Hubei. At present, there are several supermarkets in this city, such as Dongfang Supermarket, Yasi Supermarket and Chen Guang Supermarket. After returning home, I found that there is another supermarket near my home, which is Midland Supermarket. As far as I know, Midland Supermarket just opened in February last year, with 65438+. And I went to the supermarket and found it was quite big, and there didn't seem to be enough employees in it. So, I thought, maybe I can work here as a temporary worker. After making up my mind, I went to ask the staff in the supermarket if the supermarket planned to recruit temporary workers again. It turned out that I really asked the right question. The staff inside told me that this supermarket is planning to recruit some college students to do holiday work. I am glad that God helped me. I asked the staff when the supermarket would send the recruitment notice, and the staff also told me to come back to see the recruitment notice posted by the supermarket in a few days. I really appreciate these kind employees.

A few days later, it was 1 27, and many college students studying in other places came back from vacation. I guess the job advertisement in the supermarket should also come out. I made some preparations and went to Midland Supermarket again. As a result, the recruitment notice really came out, and I immediately applied for it. The application process went smoothly. The recruiter asked me some simple questions, and I answered them one by one, and filled out an application form for Midland Supermarket as required. After applying for this job, I feel good about myself.

Two days later, on the morning of 1 29, the staff of the supermarket called me and asked me to go to work on 65438130, and asked me to report to the person in charge of my upcoming work in the afternoon to learn about the working hours and some management systems of the supermarket. In the afternoon, I went to see the person in charge and learned about the working hours. The working hours are as follows: two shifts-morning and evening shifts and noon shifts. The working hours of the morning and evening shifts are 7: 00- 12: 00 and18: 00-23: 00; The working hours of the noon shift are 12: 00- 18: 00. My job is selling bread. And I also learned that the person in charge I met was actually my boss. The bread section in the supermarket was contracted to my boss, and the bread I am going to sell in the supermarket was made by my boss and the master he invited. The boss asked me if I could do this job 15. I thought for a moment, smiled and said, "Of course."

The job of selling bread is to deal directly with customers. Moreover, customers are various, and everyone has everyone's habits. To put it bluntly, the so-called sales is a service industry that serves customers. During these 17 days, I have contacted different types of customers, most of whom are friendly, but of course some of them are difficult to get along with and like to make things difficult for others. Through dealing with different types of customers in this short 17 day, I have summed up some qualities that people in the service industry should have:

First, fully understand the products you want to sell.

Only by fully understanding your own products can you make corresponding answers when customers ask questions. If you don't know your products in advance, customers can't answer questions, or the answers are unclear, so that customers can't know the information they need.

Second, smile at every customer.

Being kind to others will be rewarded. The best way to show friendliness is to smile. Because smile is the language of all mankind. People in the service industry should form the good habit of smiling. People with smiles give people a feeling of being approachable and friendly. Moreover, smiling is an instinct of human beings. It doesn't cost money or effort, but it makes people feel comfortable and willing to accept you. People prefer to deal with smiling people, not to mention customers of God in the service industry, than people who are expressionless or even indifferent.

Third, good service attitude.

Good service attitude, including being warm to others and patiently answering customers' inquiries. Don't ignore customers, don't be impatient with customers' inquiries, and answer customers' questions carefully and patiently.

Fourth, there is the ability to improvise.

You should have the ability to improvise, because in the process of sales, you will always meet all kinds of strange people and things. If you don't have the ability to improvise, you only stick to the big principles and don't know how to make changes, which may lead to the failure of the transaction and even bring unnecessary trouble to yourself. Therefore, we must have the ability to improvise.

The above points are some of my experiences in selling bread in this 17 day, and also some of my gains from doing social practice this holiday.

There is another person who works with me at the same time, so when there is not much traffic and the sales counter is not very busy, I will go to the bread processing room to help the boss and proprietress do something unrelated to sales. For example, help them clean materials, put bread, and sometimes pack jiaozi with the proprietress. We sell not only bread, but also steamed dumplings and fried dumplings. Moreover, steamed dumplings and fried dumplings are very popular, so we have to make a lot of jiaozi every day to meet the needs of customers.

When I help in the processing room, I will chat with my boss, the proprietress. The boss and proprietress don't read much, but they have worked hard in the society for more than ten years and accumulated a lot of rich experience in doing things for so many years. In the process of work, if I encounter something I don't understand, I will ask them, and they will be happy to help me solve these puzzles. My boss and proprietress often say to me, "You are a college student with a higher education. When studying at school, we should make full use of our spare time to study more, constantly enrich ourselves and improve ourselves. You are still young. Young people should not be afraid of suffering. Only when you have suffered can you become a person. Moreover, I dare not suffer hardships when I am young, and I will work harder when I am old. " Indeed, it is worthy of someone who has experienced it. It is short and pithy. I like the last sentence best, "I dare not endure hardships when I am young, but I will work harder when I am old." This sentence, I think, is really a golden advice, which has pointed out a direction for me to some extent.

The day I left, the boss talked to me specially. He said, "Of course, the most important thing for a person to study is reading, but after reading, he should also get in touch with society more, increase his knowledge and exercise his ability. Especially in the university, it is a very good exercise opportunity for individuals to take part in social practice activities during their holidays. You are a smart girl who knows how to use her vacation time to get in touch with and understand the society. Among the college students I have met so far, there are still a few who know how to do it like you. You are very smart, I hope you can have a good development in the future. " The boss also said that if I want to come back here to help him in the summer vacation, he is very welcome. I really appreciate these kind people taking care of me and being so friendly to me.

Besides, I like this supermarket very much. It is that the staff in the supermarket have a very good relationship with each other and feel very harmonious with each other. All employees in this supermarket must wear uniforms issued by the supermarket. I found that during non-working hours, when I was outside, the staff who also wore the uniforms of Midland Supermarket would take care of each other and say hello to each other, regardless of whether they knew each other or not. I know this because sometimes when I play outside after work, I still wear the uniform of the supermarket. When I meet some people who wear the same uniform as me, they will say hello to me, but I don't know them. At first, I thought it was strange. I also asked a person who greeted me and said, do we know each other? The elder sister's answer made people feel very warm: "I don't know." But we are wearing the same uniform, and I know that you work in Midland Supermarket like me, so I know that you are also my colleague, so I say hello to you. "This is really a warm answer. After that, I met people wearing the same clothes as me outside, and I took the initiative to say hello to them. Later, I asked my colleagues who worked in the supermarket and had a good chat with them. It turns out that this is a habit among people who work in this supermarket: whether they know each other or not, everyone will greet each other when they see someone wearing the uniform of Midland Supermarket outside. This habit is really the one I know that makes me feel the warmest.

Conclusion: In short, this winter vacation, through a short period of 17 days of social practice, I saw what I couldn't see at school and learned what I couldn't learn at school, which not only increased my knowledge, but also improved my practical ability. I think this should be the biggest gain of my social practice this time.

Thank you: Although the winter vacation is not long, it is very substantial and valuable to me. I was moved by the enthusiasm and friendliness of the owner and proprietress of Midland Supermarket and the staff there. I am very grateful to them for giving me this holiday opportunity, which made me learn a lot. I will redouble my efforts and do better in the future!
