If you have a background in medical image processing, it is also a good choice to go to some medical device companies or medical software companies. Image processing requires high programming. If the programming is very powerful, of course, there is another choice for employment, and it is not necessary to be limited to the image direction.

Medical image direction

Video direction

Ordinary universities or research institutes focus on the formulation and revision of standards and technological innovation, while companies focus on the hardware implementation of codec. Generally, these companies are required to be familiar with or proficient in MPEG, H.264 or AVS. If they choose this direction, as long as they do well, there is basically no job. Because this is not the direction I am interested in, I haven't collected company information in this field, but I usually see it on various bbs or recruitment websites.
