For thousands of years, various religions have been arguing about this issue, even leading to war and bloodshed, but Buddhism has never seen it.

As far as support is concerned, it is mainly the voluntary behavior of Buddhists, and monks are not allowed to guide and ask for it. According to Buddhist scriptures, there are many merits in offering, but if it is not on a voluntary basis, it will not achieve the merits in the Buddhist sense.
