Who are the Four Saints of Nanyang?

The four saints of Nanyang are Zhang Heng, a scientific saint, Zhang Zhongjing, a medical saint, Fan Li, a business saint and Zhuge Liang, a wise saint. Nanyang, formerly known as Wan, is a famous historical and cultural city in China, located in the southwest of Henan Province, bordering Hubei Province and Shaanxi Province. Historically, Nanyang has nurtured countless cultural celebrities and made great contributions to human progress. Five thousand years of Chinese civilization has produced 16 saints.

1, Ke Heng: Zhang Heng was a great astronomer, mathematician, inventor, geographer, cartographer, poet and official of the Han Dynasty in the Eastern Han Dynasty, and made indelible contributions to the development of astronomy, mechanical technology and seismology in China.

2. Dr. Zhang Zhongjing: Treatise on Febrile Diseases written by Zhang Zhongjing is the first monograph on clinical therapeutics in China, and it is still highly praised by Chinese and Western medicine research and clinical treatment. He pioneered artificial respiration and enema, more than 1000 years earlier than western medicine.

3. Shang Sheng: Strive to destroy Wu and respect him as a general. Because there is a good way to do business, you will become rich one by one, and people regard Fan Li as the god of wealth.

4. Wise Zhuge Liang: Zhuge Liang was the prime minister of Shu during the Three Kingdoms period, an outstanding politician, strategist, diplomat, writer, calligrapher and inventor. Zhuge Liang tilled the fields in Nanyang, Henan Province, and later generations built Wuhou Temple in Wolonggang, Nanyang to commemorate Zhuge Liang's great achievements.
