Agency cost of fast-moving consumer goods

FMCG is brand-conscious. Although the business has been sluggish in recent years, some daily necessities are still ok, and there is a market for black tea and green tea. Milk is about brands. Mengniu Yili is well-known in China, and Sanyuan is OK because it is a state-owned enterprise. Modern animal husbandry in Huishan, Weigang belongs to the second line and is very popular in the local area. Therefore, if you represent milk, you must see whether the brand has a certain popularity and influence in the local area. Investment needs to be cautious.

Let me talk about my own situation first. I have been engaged in FMCG industry for nearly 7 years. The company I work for involves the first-line brands and a few second-line brands in the food, milk, beverage, condiment and household hygiene industries. I am lucky but really ashamed. I have covered five small directions in seven years. Although I have never mixed up a "one official and half a job", I still want to sum up my understanding and perception of the FMCG industry.

Let's start with entering the business. After graduation, I drifted north for nearly 1 year. Later, when it was time to buy a house and get married, under the pressure of my parents, I returned to my hometown, a regional city not far from Beijing. After coming back, I had a drink with my friends for a while, so I couldn't stay any longer, and I was anxious to find a job. I went to the job fair. In this second-tier city, which is not even a third-tier city, the recruitment posters hanging on the desks of each unit have not reached 3,000 yuan/month. It's a little unacceptable. I have a mortgage of 2400 yuan a month in my heart. Later, when I read the recruitment notice, I only looked at the salary column and didn't look at anything else. Finally, I saw a poster with a monthly salary of 3,000 yuan/month. First-line domestic brands in the family health industry are recruiting market supervision positions, that is, going to stores all over the country to check the fees submitted by the sales department. They really didn't know anything at that time. No one tells you what industries they have been exposed to and how they will develop in the future. The interview went well, and then the leader sent a bunch of store details, went on a business trip, and went to stores all over the country to take photos of products.
