Which district is Weihai High-tech Zone?

Weihai High-tech Zone is Weihai Torch High-tech Industrial Development Zone. Weihai Torch Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone is a national hi-tech industrial development zone approved by the State Council on March 6th, 1. It was co-founded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Shandong Provincial Government and Weihai Municipal Government. It is one of the three torch high-tech industrial development zones in China, and it is under the administrative jurisdiction of Huancui District, Weihai City. The Administrative Committee of the Development Zone is an agency of Weihai Municipal Government, which enjoys municipal economic management authority.

Huancui District is the seat of Weihai Municipal Government and the central city of Weihai. In the thirty-first year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1398), in order to prevent Japanese invasion, a garrison was established here, called Ahava. Huancui District is rich in tourism resources, and there are more than 10 scenic spots (spots) in the territory, among which Huaxia City is a national AAAAAA-level scenic spot, the cruise ship "Xiang Qiao" in Xianguding and the coastal ecological customs zone is a national AAAA-level scenic spot, and Likou Mountain, Half Moon Bay and Yang Tinghe Wetland Park are AAA-level scenic spots. There are two provincial tourist resorts, namely Huancui Provincial Tourist Resort and Beihai Provincial Tourist Resort.

Natural resources are characterized by "sea, island, beach, bay, spring and mountain". The coastline of the whole region is 43 kilometers long, the beaches along the line are exquisite and continuous, and the sea water is blue and clear. The better beaches are Grape Beach Beach and Half Moon Bay Beach. Humanistic resources are represented by Qin and Han culture, folk culture, Taoism culture, Wu Jia culture and British culture.

Regional division of Weihai

The whole Weihai includes Weihai City, Wendeng District, Rushan City and Rongcheng District.

Weihai: Huancui District (including hot springs, Zhang Cun and Yang Ting), Economic Zone (including Qiaotou and Binhai East New Town), High-tech Zone (including Northern New Town) and Lingang.

Rongcheng: Rongcheng City, Shidao, Naxianghai, Chengshan, Lidao and Lucky Corner.

Wendeng: Wendeng City, Nanhai New District

Rushan: Rushan City, Yintan, Rushankou and Haiyang Institute.

Except Rushan City and Wendeng City, several other areas are basically on the coastline.
