Will Harbin sausage processing produce pollution?

According to the current classification management list of the country, the annual processing of meat products of more than 20,000 tons needs to be entrusted to the EIA agency to make a report form, and the following items need to be registered.

Referring to other similar projects, the main pollution situation is divided by elements:

1. wastewater: there will definitely be washing or other wastewater during meat processing, and the amount of wastewater is relatively large. According to the production and discharge coefficient revised by the state in 20 10, the amount of wastewater produced by one ton of meat products is about 17 tons, the concentration of COD can reach about 700mg/L, and the concentration of ammonia nitrogen is about 300 mg/L, so it is generally necessary to build sewage.

2. Waste gas: On the one hand, the waste gas pollution of such projects comes from heat sources, and boilers are usually built for cooked meat products. If it is a coal-fired boiler, the current air pollution prevention and control plan has strict requirements for coal-fired boilers. It is not allowed to build in the built-up area, and it is not allowed to build new industrial parks with less than 20 tons, which will change according to the different requirements of local governments. The requirements of natural gas boilers are not so strict. On the other hand, all kinds of smells produced during meat processing, if not handled properly, will cause malodorous pollution to the surrounding area.

3. Solid waste: Fly ash and slag from coal-fired boilers, waste from meat processing, waste packaging and sludge from sewage treatment stations are all possible solid wastes, among which sludge is usually regarded as hazardous waste. All solid waste should be properly treated, recycled or entrusted to a third party.

4. Noise: all kinds of noise pollution from the processing.

After the project is decided, it is best to go to the local environmental protection department and ask each question clearly. Whether the local authorities have other requirements for the project, or whether the proposed site is in an environmentally sensitive area, needs to be verified by the local environmental protection department, otherwise the EIA procedures cannot be obtained and the problem of relocation may be faced.
