Jiexiu No.2 High School school profile

Jiexiu No.2 Middle School has a long history and is brilliant. This Confucian temple was built in the third year of Tang Xianxiang, destroyed by soldiers in the early Yuan Dynasty and rebuilt in the Yuan Dynasty. Later generations repaired, rebuilt and expanded it until the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. Due to historical reasons, many buildings in the Confucian Temple were destroyed, leaving only Lingxingmen, Dacheng Hall, Bell and Drum Tower and East-West Annex Hall. From the day the temple was built, it was the "lecture hall", and it was hard to count how many literati came out of it in the past dynasties. After liberation, everything revived and education developed rapidly. Jiexiu Middle School, Pingling Street Union Normal School, Jiexiu Health School, Jiexiu No.1 Middle School and Jiexiu No.2 Middle School have successively established schools here. Here, a group of talents who are the pillars of the country have been trained. Jiexiu No.2 Middle School, founded in 1989, has now developed into a junior middle school with more than 1400 teachers and students, and is the largest school in history.
