What details in the book make you sigh' I owe this to the author'?

A good book can really make you think for a while. When I was at school, I read a book called The Complete Works of Sherlock Holmes. This book is so thick that it took me two weeks to finish it. After reading it, I really feel that the author's brain hole is really big, or that the author really has experience in this field. As I grow older, I feel more and more that the author is a man with stories, because no story can't be written.

There is a chapter about a murder in a manor. There is one detail. The neighbor left quietly before his master died, so everyone would think that this neighbor must be suspicious, but later there was a saying that the footprints on the road from his neighbor's house to his house were blurred, and most people could not see them, but Holmes could see them. Then why did you see them? It shows that Holmes saw the footprints on purpose to confuse the criminals. I still remember this detail, and it is usually taken into the ditch. But with the growth of age, it is really thought-provoking and thought-provoking. There may be many similar masterpieces, but in my heart, Sherlock Holmes is my favorite one, and I should read it when I have time. It is never too late.
