Nanyang Medical College plans to enroll 1 100 students in 2022.

Nanyang Medical College, formerly known as Nanyang Health School, was founded in 195 1. Approved by the Ministry of Education in 2004, it was upgraded to Nanyang Medical College. In 2006, Nanyang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government integrated Nanyang medical education resources, and merged Nanyang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Zhang Zhongjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Institute of Technology) into Nanyang Medical College, forming a school-running pattern of combining traditional Chinese and western medicine with complementary advantages.
