Since 1991, it has been implemented by the Ministry of Education of Chinese mainland to inspect English majors in national comprehensive universities. The examination covers all aspects of English listening, reading, writing and translation, and in 25, humanistic knowledge was added. The time is usually the first Saturday of March every year, and the target is senior students majoring in English and related majors.
