Recruited by the company in 2007.

What kind of education should people in the industry have at present?

I was an undergraduate in geology at that time, and now I am at least a graduate student in the industry.

What knowledge, skills and experience do you think you should have to do this job well?

1, excellent professional knowledge, especially petrology, tectonics and mineralogy. 2. Be able to do some (experienced) field geological surveys, such as mine survey, geochemical sampling, geological mapping, drilling and logging, and write some similar geological reports.

What personal qualities, personalities and abilities do you think are important to do this job well?

Can bear hardships, can bear hardships, be worthy of one's conscience, have a strong sense of responsibility, be practical (dishonest) and not impetuous.

In the industry, what kind of work is good for personal development to learn the most knowledge?

Find a good unit, and a good teacher will lead him to complete the preliminary investigation, general survey, detailed investigation and exploration (including data collation, data and report preparation) of a project in one stop. This is ideal, but generally impossible.

What do you usually do at work every day?

Basically spent in the wild, after returning to the team to sort out the information. Make up some small reports at ordinary times.

When the project we undertook found the mine and achieved results, this was our greatest success in this industry. This is the biggest challenge when you are assigned a project and you have no experience in this field.

I prefer family gatherings to going outdoors.

What is the general salary level of junior positions and slightly higher positions in your field of work?

This general difference is not very big, but the specific difference mainly depends on the projects I participated in.

The major of higher vocational education is to learn the basic professional knowledge well first, so that the later units (preferably those with revolutionary experience) can accumulate experience. Keep learning and improving at work.

Are there any seasonal or geographical restrictions in this industry?

That's for sure.

12 what role do you think the professional knowledge you learned in school played in your work?

Of course it is useful, but the response is not obvious, mainly because of the study after this job. After all, many books are too abstract. Like doctors, this profession relies on clinical experience.
