What brand of electric scooter is good?

Let's talk about it as a practitioner. Some of my car-making experiences in recent years are really something I said with my conscience.

1. About the motor

At present, scooters' motors are basically produced in Changzhou, China, and scooters in the industry do not use the so-called Bosch motors, but all use domestic motors. For the scooter, there is no need to use Bosch motor, and the better-designed domestic motor is completely sufficient, and the price paid by users for pursuing the so-called doctor motor is not cost-effective. Of course, domestic motors are mixed, and they are really bad. The direct harm is the impact on the battery life, overheating and burning of the motor.

2. About battery life

Only from the aspect of software and hardware, the factors of users themselves and the use environment are excluded. Four key points that affect battery life: battery capacity, motor power, motor control mode and tire.

1) battery: the battery has the greatest impact on battery life, and it is strongly recommended to buy a scooter with imported batteries. First, the battery conversion rate and energy density are higher, that is, under the same volume and weight, the imported battery capacity is larger. At present, the domestic battery capacity is 2000 or 2200, and the imported battery capacity is 2600 or 3200, which is equivalent to 30% more battery life. Second, security is guaranteed. At present, there are too many examples of spontaneous combustion and explosion of scooter balance car torsion car products, all of which are caused by the use of inferior batteries.

2) Motor power: the greater the power, the better; It's too wasteful, too small to use. At the same time, the power selection of hub motor is also related to wheel diameter, speed and torque. Take a scooter with an 8-inch wheel diameter as an example, the motor power can range from 250 W to 350 W, and each motor has an optimal power range, which is related to the output curve of the motor, and the output power of the general cruising speed is just within this optimal range.

3) Motor control mode: At present, square wave control and sine wave control have their own advantages and disadvantages. Personally, I like positive sine wave control, which is comfortable to control, linear acceleration, high cost, power saving at start and low noise. Square wave control is simple and rude, cheap and stable, accelerating straight line, starting quickly and saving electricity in cruising. Generally speaking, it is recommended to use positive sine wave control products. A good positive sine wave control product requires higher technical ability of the enterprise and pays more attention to the use experience. Overall, the energy utilization efficiency is 5~7% higher than that of analog wave control. How to distinguish between sine wave and square wave control? Sine wave control is to turn the handle slightly under no load. At this time, the motor starts gently and smoothly and continues to accelerate to the highest speed. Under the load, the start is gentle and not urgent, without abnormal sound, quiet and comfortable. However, when the square wave controller turns the handle slightly when it is empty, the motor will accelerate a little, and the noise of starting with load is very loud, so it is too impulsive to control.

4) Tire: The friction between the driving wheel and the driven wheel is large, which leads to high endurance, and vice versa.

At present, most of the nominal cruising range in the industry is virtual and full of moisture, and a few of them are credible or close to the nominal value. However, the cruising range is affected by personal riding habits and the environment, and the data measured by everyone is almost different. 3. About speed

It is strongly recommended that you do not blindly pursue high speed. Scooter itself is not a product suitable for pursuing speed, with small wheel diameter, short control response time and long braking distance. On the premise of ensuring safety, it is suggested that the maximum speed should not exceed 25km/h and the limit should not exceed 30km/h, which is already a very dangerous speed. After testing all kinds of cars all the year round, I still fell over a pit, a small stone, a 6-inch bmx and an 8-inch bmx. 10 inch cart. Because scooters are not suitable for speed, no matter how high the riding technology is, it can't cope with many emergencies unless the road conditions are perfect. In addition, separately, it is very simple for enterprises to let go of the speed limit. Choose a motor with low torque and high speed, and directly control it with square wave. You don't need much power to ensure that you can fly when you ride.

4. About tires

Two-wheel design is the mainstream of the market. We recommend some three-wheel designs (the first three wheels or the last three wheels), which are flexible, safer to turn, cheap and reliable (the price of fewer wheels and suspension structure), light and compact. I can't think of any benefits of three rounds. Wheel diameters are 4.5, 6, 8, 10,110.5 inches, and common ones are 6, 8,10 inches. It is recommended to choose a large wheel diameter, such as 8 inches, 10 inch, which has high safety and good steering performance. Because the smaller the wheel, the easier it is to fall when turning. At the same time, there are four kinds of tires, solid tires, honeycomb solid tires, inner tube pneumatic tires and vacuum tires (tubeless pneumatic tires). It is not recommended to choose pneumatic tires for small wheel diameter, which is too easy to puncture. It is recommended to choose pneumatic tires of 8 inches and above, and it is not necessary to use additional mechanical shock absorption devices. One thing to note here is that pneumatic tires must be chosen with a tire width of more than 40, not too narrow.

5. About weight

If boys use it, it should not exceed 12kg, and if girls use it, it should be within 10kg, so it is acceptable to climb 3-5 floors to get out of the subway. There's not much difference, but every kilogram you add, your body feels different. At present, our 10 inch car has a nominal cruising range of 20km (actually between 25 and 30km) and its weight is controlled at10.7kg..

6. About folding

At present, there are two popular folding methods, one is column folding and the other is pedal front folding. It is suggested to fold the column, because the stress on the column position is smaller than that on the pedal, and the folding requirements can be achieved with lighter structural materials. After folding, the wheel position will not change and it can be placed on the ground normally.

7. Removable battery

Generally, a conventional battery pack consists of 20 pieces, each weighing about 50g, and the total weight exceeds 1kg. It's a bit silly to go out with a brick of 1kg every day. If you need long battery life, buy products with long battery life. If you really can't, get on a motorcycle or an electric car. After all, the scooter is still a short-distance means of transportation.
