FAW Chengdu base is "Chengdu FAW Automobile Co., Ltd.", formerly known as Sichuan Wagon Factory, which was founded in 1958. On June 2002, 5438-1October 2 1 joined FAW Group, and on March 4, 2005, it became a wholly-owned subsidiary of FAW, located in the Chengdu base of FAW.
At present, Chengdu Branch of FAW-Volkswagen Automobile Co., Ltd. mainly produces German Volkswagen brand cars, covering an area of 1.220 mu. The initial scale is10.5 million vehicles/year, and finally it has a production capacity of 350,000 vehicles/year. It is estimated that the annual sales revenue of all projects will reach more than 40 billion yuan after production. The Chengdu project will be produced in strict accordance with the quality management system and production process standards of FAW-Volkswagen, and its products will fully meet the quality requirements of Volkswagen. The project in Chengdu, Sichuan will drive a large number of parts supporting enterprises to settle in Chengdu, Sichuan, which will greatly promote the development of the automobile industry in Chengdu, Sichuan. The four production lines of stamping, welding, painting and final assembly have been basically completed, and the equipment is being debugged. NCS (sagitar Next Generation) will be put into trial production in May and is expected to be put into production before the end of 1 1.
We visited the assembly workshop of Jetta under the leadership of the staff. The layout of the assembly workshop is mainly divided into three parts: assembly area, quality inspection area and repair area, in which the assembly line includes 24 stations, including the first-level built-in assembly line, the chassis assembly line and the second-level built-in assembly line. There are 35 sets of main process equipment in the workshop, from powertrain to primary interior, to chassis assembly and to secondary interior. After the four doors and two covers are adjusted, enter the vehicle inspection line for inspection, and send the products with problems to the maintenance area for maintenance. After the vehicle inspection meets the factory requirements, it is cleaned and delivered through the rain line, and the final quality assurance inspection is needed before leaving the factory. The whole production process of products is controlled by QC team to ensure the quality of products.
The internal assembly line of the assembly line is equipped with a guide rail with controllable speed, which ensures the rhythm of the process. The chassis assembly line adopts semi-automatic production equipment, in which the key processes and techniques that have a great influence on product quality are clearly marked, and the wheel installation and fastening processes all adopt machine fastening bolts, which avoids the inconsistency of fastening degree caused by manual operation and fully guarantees the quality and safety performance of the whole vehicle. During the visit, the staff also specially reminded us not to get too close to the car body, because we didn't wear special work clothes to avoid rubbing clothes or bags. These details also reflect the rigorous concept of German cars and the pursuit of high quality.
After visiting the workshop, the staff of the human resources department gave us a detailed introduction of the company's product evolution, development history, corporate culture and other aspects. Sichuan FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Sichuan FAW Toyota) is a Sino-foreign joint venture jointly funded by China FAW Group Corporation, Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan and Toyota Tsusho Co., Ltd. Sichuan FAW Toyota is the first vehicle project of Toyota Motor Corporation in China and the largest automobile joint venture project in Sichuan Province at present. The company was established in1October1998110, with a joint venture term of 30 years, a total investment of 9180,000 US dollars and a registered capital of 307 million US dollars, with 50% for both Chinese and foreign parties. Sichuan FAW Toyota covers an area of 455,400 square meters (including construction area of127,900 square meters and green area of 9,000 square meters). After watching the propaganda film of Sichuan FAW Toyota Company, the staff showed us around the assembly workshop. Half of the workshop is the storage area for the parts needed for assembly (at present, all the parts needed for production are purchased by the company), and the other half is the assembly area. The whole workshop has a fixed area for passing, parking and placing parts. The demand and distribution of parts can be clearly understood through kanban, and the visit channel is set at the top of the factory building, which will not affect the normal production. There are two independent production lines in the assembly workshop to produce two models respectively, and the workers on the two production lines are arranged according to the production plan.
During the visit to Sichuan FAW Toyota Company, we also learned some excellent management methods and production methods of Toyota enterprises, and trained new and old employees in the form of skill Dojo, including skills training in stamping, mold preservation, welding, painting, assembly, logistics, quality inspection and preservation. The training time of new employees' skill Dojo is at least one week and at most half a year, which can ensure the technical proficiency of operators on the production line.
