School-enterprise Cooperation in Zhanjiang Xiashan Vocational High School

The school has vigorously broadened the channels of "school-enterprise cooperation", implemented "order training and directional recommendation", and strengthened students' internship training and employment recommendation. At present, nearly 100 local and Pearl River Delta enterprises have become our stable cooperative enterprises: TV media organizations (such as Zhanjiang TV Broadcasting Digital TV Co., Ltd.), factory enterprises (such as TCL Ace Electric Appliances (Huizhou) Co., Ltd. and Jiangmen Heshan Artux Printing Co., Ltd.), computer and mobile phone enterprises (such as Nokia (Zhanjiang) Customer Service Center and Tsinghua Tongfang Zhanjiang Zhongyuan Computer Technology Co., Ltd.). There are sales industries (such as Wal-Mart Shopping Plaza Zhanjiang Store and Zhanjiang Coconut Beverage Co., Ltd.), hotel industries (such as Dongguan Walden International Hotel (five-star), Dongguan Chengjing Garden International Hotel (five-star) and Zhanjiang Hai Yin Hotel (four-star)), tourism industries (such as Guangdong Nanhu International Travel Service Co., Ltd. and Zhanjiang Scenery Travel Agency) and other related enterprises (such as Guangzhou Nairuier Fitness and Beauty Products Sales Co., Ltd. and Zhanjiang Power Supply Bureau). In recent years, the employment rate of graduates in our school has remained at a high level, which was 96% in 2006, 97% in 2007, 99% in 2008 and 100% in 2009, with a matching rate of 4 1% and an excellent rate of 59%. Graduates have performed well in various units, achieved outstanding results, played the role of professional experts and technical backbones, and were well received by employers.
