I didn't know until I asked. It's Mandarin. A teacher named Zhang Huiqiong saw that Pan Xuexiu was eager to learn, so he lent him his dictionary and taught him pronunciation while letting him learn by himself. Pan Xuexiu was attracted by the beautiful language of Chinese.

From 65438 to 0978, Pan Xuexiu became one of the first three children admitted to Wanning Middle School in Liujiaoling Village. At that time, his dream was to walk out of the mountains through hard work. Therefore, when he graduated from high school, he was faced with the choice of life path.

One side is the unknown world outside the mountain, and the other side is the hometown of poverty.

Pan Xuexiu finally chose to stay in the mountains: "I can't walk out of the mountains. I hope my students can walk out of the mountains."

At that time, a central primary school moved to Liujiaoling, and children from nearby villages came here to study. However, they face a problem: Miao children don't even have a Chinese name when they go to school, let alone understand Chinese teachers' classes.

Pan Xuexiu gave many children names without names, only to find that no matter how he taught them in Mandarin, they didn't respond. After several classes, Pan Xuexiu tried to teach pronunciation in Mandarin and explain the meaning of words in Miao and Hainan dialects. Finally, he saw that the children's faces were no longer vacant. Other teachers were also surprised to find this phenomenon.

Since then, Pan Xuexiu has started his trilingual teaching. Teaching is slow, but effective.

Teacher Tang, who has worked with Pan Xuexiu for many years, said that ordinary teachers can't teach these children who know nothing about Mandarin and Chinese characters. In the eyes of her 20-year-old son, Pan Xiaoqing, Pan Xuexiu is also an excellent teacher. What impressed Pan Xiaoqing was that he didn't finish his homework when he was studying in his father's class. Like other children, he will be left to finish his homework before going home. "At school, he is my teacher. He won't treat me differently because I am his child."
