The Artistic Status of Guangshan Ancient Paintings and Dramas

Guangshan ancient painting drama is a unique Han folk art in Guangshan County. Since 1967, he has performed many times in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. For various reasons, like other Han folk art treasures, ancient paintings and operas are also facing the dilemma of no successor and no inheritance. In order to revive this folk art, the government invested more than 3 million yuan to rescue the "Flower Drum Opera". Today, "Guangshan Ancient Painting Opera" has five training bases and more than 200 full-time and part-time actors from farmers, doctors, teachers and other industries. Guangshan ancient painting drama has become a golden business card and has been performed all over the country. At the beginning of the year, the new versions of the ancient paintings "Couples Watching Lights" and "Top Chair" entered the Provincial People's Hall and won the gold medal in the performance of provincial local operas.
