General situation of Panyu College in Guangzhou

Guangzhou Panyu Vocational and Technical College (formerly Panyu Institute of Technology, Panyu Vocational and Technical College) was established in 1993 and officially approved by the Ministry of Education in September, 1997. It is the first batch of public full-time ordinary higher vocational colleges in China and the first one in Guangzhou. In 2003, it was recognized as a leading institution of higher vocational education by Guangzhou Municipal Government. In April, 2005, she passed the evaluation of talent training level of the Ministry of Education with "excellent" results. From June, 5438 to February, 2006, it was recognized by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance as one of the first 28 construction institutions in the "National Model Higher Vocational College Construction Plan". The school is located in Panyu District, Guangzhou, the hinterland of the Pearl River Delta, with an area of 206 1 mu and a building area of 288,300 square meters.
