When interviewing in public institutions, various interview forms are usually adopted. The following are five common interview forms for public institutions:
1. Structured interview
Structured interview, also known as standardized interview, is a standardized process in which examiners strictly follow specific procedures, use specific questions, evaluation methods and evaluation criteria, and evaluate candidates through face-to-face oral communication with them.
2. There is no leading group discussion.
Leaderless group discussion refers to gathering several candidates and forming a group according to a certain number of people, asking them to discuss a certain issue freely within a certain period of time. Examiners comprehensively evaluate candidates through qualitative and quantitative analysis according to their abilities, speeches and observations of nonverbal behaviors.
3. Scenario simulation test
Scenario simulation test is to set a certain simulation scenario, which requires the testee to play a certain role, enter the role scenario, and deal with various affairs, problems and contradictions. Examiners observe and record candidates' behaviors in various situations, so as to evaluate their quality potential, or see if they can adapt or be competent for the job.
The main methods of scenario simulation test include the simulation of general document processing in public institutions (that is, file basket interview), the simulation of work activities, role-playing and on-site operation.
4. Speech interview
Speech interview refers to a kind of realistic information exchange activity in which the speaker expresses his views and emotions in a specific environment, with the help of artistic means such as audio language and body language, aiming at the reality and future of society and facing the broad audience, so as to inspire the audience and urge them to take action.
5. Interviews with interviewees
Respond to the interview, that is, the examiner asks questions one by one and the candidates answer them one by one.
It should be noted that the structured interview form is the most commonly used in the interview process of public institutions, followed by leaderless group discussion.
