The Department of Finance and Economics was founded in September 2005, and began to recruit undergraduates in 2007. There are three undergraduate majors in financial management, international economy and trade and economics (finance), and five specialized majors in accounting computerization, accounting computerization (foreign accounting), international trade practice, financial management and international finance. There are 59 standard classes with 3098 students.

In the past six years, the Department of Finance and Economics has always carried out the training goal of "cultivating applied technical talents and high-skilled practical talents" and implemented the school-running mode of "combining higher technical undergraduate education with higher vocational education, implementing school-enterprise cooperation and combining production with learning". Through hard work, our department has established a multi-level and relatively complete school-running system, with abundant teachers, rich experience in running schools and perfect teaching and experimental conditions. Facing the market, serving the economy and enterprises, striving to give full play to the advantages of independent colleges, actively serving the economic construction in the Pearl River Delta region, and cultivating applied talents in finance, finance, trade and management for small and medium-sized enterprises.

There are 82 faculty members in the department, including 8 professors and 2 1 associate professors. Among them, 3 teachers have obtained doctoral degrees, and 1 is studying for doctoral degrees. Master's degree or above accounts for 7 1% of all teachers. Among the teaching staff, there are 5 certified public accountants, 2 certified tax agents, 20 certified securities analysts 1 person, 20 accountants and 8 economists, with a high proportion of double-qualified teachers. In the past six years, the whole department has edited 8 textbooks, published more than 200 academic papers and published monographs 1 department. The scientific research ability and level of our department have also been greatly improved. We have completed the provincial project 1 and presided over 3 key projects at the school level.

In recent years, the Department of Finance and Economics has completed the construction of a relatively advanced computer local area network, including many experimental training rooms such as accounting simulation, financial management, securities investment, international trade practice, documentary practice and financial software. With more than 200 high-performance network computers and many professional simulation application software, it constantly promotes and helps students' practical ability in economic management simulation practice. Training courses with the characteristics of the times, such as financial management simulation training, accounting network training simulation, import and export trade practice simulation, stock trading and accounting computerization, are welcomed by the students.

Nearly 3000 students of the Sixth Department of Finance and Economics studied hard at school, 482 students joined China gloriously at school, and 545 students were rated as excellent graduates. Most college graduates have passed the AB-level English test, with the passing rate of Band 4 as high as 79. 16% and the passing rate of Band 6 nearly 10%. In the past six years, 86 college graduates have been admitted to undergraduate colleges for further study.

The employment rate of each graduate is above 95%, and the employment units involve government agencies, schools, banks, securities companies, insurance companies and small and medium-sized enterprises in the Pearl River Delta. At present, many graduates have become the backbone of middle-level management in various units and are well received by employers.

There are 47 classes and 2000 students in the Department of Management. Among them, the undergraduate department has majors in international logistics, marketing and human resource management; College has logistics management, e-commerce, marketing, secretarial, human resource management and other majors.

The management department is a dynamic department. We have a team of teachers with relatively reasonable age, major and academic qualifications. In addition to arranging students of various majors to complete the required studies and obtain graduation certificates, students are also organized to apply for the qualification certificates of corresponding majors, such as assistant e-commerce, intermediate secretarial, merchandiser, assistant human resources division, international logistics division, assistant marketing department, etc., with high pass rate.

The management department adheres to the combination of theory and practice, and has corresponding training bases, such as logistics management training room, commodity science laboratory, e-commerce simulation training room, ERP under construction and human resource management laboratory. And the off-campus training base jointly established with enterprises. These training bases provide a broad stage for improving students' practical ability. The management department has an experienced team of teachers, a harmonious and efficient management team, an excellent team of student cadres and 2000 energetic students. Since its establishment, electrical automation has been a traditional key specialty to maintain prosperity, and has trained a large number of professional and technical personnel for the whole province, especially the Pearl River Delta region. The Department of Electrical Engineering has a strong faculty and rich teaching experience. The engineering department undertakes the teaching tasks of all theoretical and practical courses of electrical engineering in the whole school, and has a relatively perfect practical teaching base. There are more than a dozen laboratories and several off-campus training bases such as electrician, electronics, motor, electric control, refrigeration, audio and video, single chip microcomputer, PLC, electronic technology practice and electrician practice. At present, there are two majors in electrical engineering and its automation and electronic information engineering, including electrical automation, applied electronic technology, electronic information and automotive electronic technology.

The Department of Electrical Engineering has a team of double-qualified teachers with high academic qualifications and titles, including 27 professional teachers, including professors 1 person, 4 associate professors, 3 lecturers, 5 senior technicians, 3 technicians, 7 "double-qualified" professional teachers, excellent teachers from South Guangdong 1 person, 6 masters and 3 postgraduates.

Graduates of this department are favored by enterprises and institutions. The employment rate of grade 02 is 98.92%, that of grade 03 is 99.32%, that of grade 04 is 98.83%, and that of grade 05 is 98.2 1% for the first time. According to market survey and employment tracking, the graduates not only have a solid theoretical foundation, but also have certain practical operation ability, which has been recognized and praised by employers. The Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering was formally established in 2004 to meet the needs of the talent market in the Pearl River Delta and the guiding ideology of running a school based on engineering. There are three undergraduate majors: mechanical design and manufacturing and automation, material forming and control engineering and vehicle engineering, and four majors: mechatronics, mold design and manufacturing, automotive application technology and mechanical design and manufacturing. There are more than full-time undergraduate and junior college students 1 100, and 32 full-time teachers, including professors or teachers with equivalent titles 1 1 person, and double-qualified teachers account for 50%.

Practical teaching is the characteristic of applied undergraduate and higher vocational colleges. At present, the department has more than ten experimental training rooms such as CNC machining center, and the total value of experimental training equipment and instruments reaches 10 million yuan. In addition, in order to strengthen the training effect and improve the training conditions, the college introduced 2 18 project, Quanta Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. and other enterprises to cooperate with the department to produce mud pumps, parking equipment, high-efficiency separators and so on. , so that students can carry out professional practice at any time and accumulate work experience. In 2007, we became independent from the former Department of Mechanical Architecture, aiming at "training the cradle of architectural engineers", set up a major in combination with the needs of architectural talents, and adopted the teaching method of combining teaching with practice to train qualified technical talents for Guangdong construction enterprises.

The teachers in this department have rich practical experience and high teaching level, among which "double-qualified" teachers account for 85%, and their majors and titles are reasonable. At present, the department has a bidding training room and an architectural drawing room; Building materials laboratory and construction technology practice base are under construction. In order to meet the needs of cultivating high-quality and high-skilled talents and cooperate with the combination of production and learning in the school, the department has set up R&D teams in key colleges such as bidding, design and construction supervision. Professional teachers lead students to participate in engineering project training, improve practical ability and master professional skills. In the future, the department will also strengthen the contact with enterprises, improve the teaching reform, and devote itself to cultivating compound senior technical talents such as building installation, building environment and equipment engineering, civil engineering construction, engineering cost and whole process management of engineering construction. In July 2004, the College Art Department was formally established. At present, there are 35 department heads, party branch secretaries, assistant directors, department heads, teaching and research section directors and faculty members. There are three teaching and research sections: plane teaching and research section, three-dimensional teaching and research section and basic teaching and research section. The existing majors are: art design (graphic design), art design (decoration), art design (interior design), computer art design, advertising design and production, environmental art design, interior design technology, exhibition and other majors. There are 303 practice teaching places such as advertising training companies, pottery rooms and painting rooms, and long-term cooperative relations have been established with more than 10 enterprises. There are 29 classes and 745 students, including 348 boys and 397 girls. All majors in art department cultivate practical talents with certain artistic and design literacy, master professional foundations such as art design, advertising, decoration, exhibition, landscape architecture and interior design theory, and have high professional skills and specialties. Graduates can engage in relevant design and production work in advertising companies, packaging companies, decoration engineering companies and various art posts. The employment rate of graduates is as high as 96%, and graduates are generally welcomed in all fronts of society.
