Is the report of GFK investigation company authoritative? Report of the School of Hotel Management.

As the cradle of hotel management education, Switzerland has never conducted an official ranking survey of hotel management schools. The main reason is that Swiss officials believe that different ranking standards will have a great impact on the ranking results of hotel management colleges. At present, no institution can make an absolutely objective and fair ranking report. As of today, apart from Switzerland, there is no official organization in the world to rank hotel management schools.

However, in order to meet the needs of the hotel industry, GfK(GfK Switzerland AG), one of the five largest market research companies in the world, conducted a survey on hotel management schools from June to July, 201year, from the perspective of hotel human resources, targeting the managers of international high-end hotel groups and the human resources directors and executive directors of hotel management companies, aiming at exploring the employers with the largest number of hotel employees.

GfK selected the recruitment team from 80 international star-rated hotels in 25 countries around the world. Among them, the proportion of hotel executives participating in the survey is as follows: 40% is the general manager of human resources, 29% is the executive director, 65,438+06% is the deputy manager of the hotel, and the remaining 65,438+05% are employees who play an important role in the recruitment process. Among the respondents, more than 38% have more than 5 years working experience in the industry, 3 1% have 2 to 5 years working background, and 20% have 1 to 2 years working experience in the hotel industry.

GfK conducted a survey by telephone and online interview. The staff will inform the investigators by telephone first, and then conduct telephone interviews or online interviews with the consent of the investigators. The interview contains 24 questions about hotel management major and hotel industry, and each interview lasts more than 20 minutes.

During the investigation, GFK randomly ranked the names of international hotel management colleges to ensure the fairness of the investigation.
