Does anyone know if there is a difference between the recruitment of middle school teachers and primary school teachers by the Education Bureau? Are there any differences in the examination papers? What is the process?

The Education Bureau’s recruitment is mainly for primary and secondary school teachers in the compulsory education stage. The job requirements are different, requiring a bachelor’s degree or above (local household registration can be relaxed to a college degree) and a corresponding teacher qualification certificate. There is no difference between the examination papers for primary and secondary schools. The examination will be conducted according to the subject of the position you are applying for.

The first item of the exam is the written test, which is for mathematics and Chinese.

The second item is the interview, which is a trial lecture or lecture. You will be given 30 minutes to prepare the lesson, and then give a trial lecture or lecture. (Music, physical education, and art majors need to take an additional skill test)
