Safety operation rules for smelters
1. Preparation before smelting
1. All raw materials to be put into the furnace must be free of moisture, mud, oil and aluminium scrap with water, which should be dried. When adding foreign waste, be sure that there is no moisture and inflammable and explosive materials in the waste.
2. Be sure to separate the sawdust and the club head when adding them, so as to avoid the explosion caused by the mixing of moisture between the club head and sawdust.
3. Check whether the fan, oil gun and oil circuit are normal and whether the boiler outlet is plugged.
4. Before charging the furnace, the furnace bottom and wall should be cleaned, and the slag should be scraped out of the furnace.
5. Prepare the shovel for operation, forklift and crane for furnace loading. The ash truck and shovel must be kept dry, and wear labor protection articles.
2. Charging the furnace
1. First, spread the dried aluminium scrap on the bottom of the furnace or put a small amount of broken profiles at the bottom, and then throw in large aluminum ingots and waste materials.
2. The furnace should be filled as much as possible, and all the large materials should be put into the furnace at one time before firing and melting, and pushed into the middle or inside. Be careful not to block the burner, flue and furnace door. Iii. pouring aluminum liquid
1. When the car lifts the aluminum liquid package that day, other workers must leave the safe passage. When pouring aluminum liquid, other workers must stay away from a safe place.
2. The workers pouring molten aluminum must wear labor protection articles and protective masks. When the molten aluminum ladle stops, the ladle button and the ladle mouth can be opened. When opening the ladle mouth, the operator should deviate from the ladle mouth to prevent the molten aluminum from spilling and scalding.
3. When pouring molten aluminum, aim the ladle mouth at the spout, and keep the ladle mouth and spout mouth about 3cm. Only when the ladle mouth and spout mouth are stable and accurate can the ladle pan be rotated.
4. During the flow of molten aluminum, it is forbidden to rotate the ladle rapidly, so as to avoid splashing of molten aluminum and prevent the molten aluminum from splashing due to the blockage of the runner, which may cause burns.
5. After the molten aluminum is poured, the ladle tray can only be rotated when the ladle is stopped to a proper height, so as to avoid the crown block from being injured in the process of pulling back the ladle. Iv. smelting
1. when igniting, lead the kindling to the front of the burner, open the oil return valve, turn on the oil pump and fan, and slowly open the oil gun valve, so that the flame in the furnace is short, white and bright, and there is no black smoke. Close the oven door to keep a certain gap and enter normal smelting.
2. When the surface metal melts, the unmelted bulk aluminum should be pushed to the inner high temperature area to accelerate melting. 3. When the bottom metal is completely melted, stop at room temperature to 6-7℃, add scraps and press them to the bottom of the furnace, let the aluminum liquid cover and melt them, stop adding waste until it becomes paste, and then fire to raise the temperature to 71-74℃ for refining. V. Slagging
1. After the cease-fire, fully stir the molten aluminum, and push the bottom and wall of the furnace with a shovel, at which time the slag in the metal and the slag attached to the bottom and wall will float.
2. Scrape the scum near the door of the furnace, sprinkle the slagging agent at a ratio of 1/15-1/25, and gently rub the scum to separate the aluminum from the slag as much as possible. At this time, the scum will change from a lump to a powder and be scraped out of the pot outside the furnace. Six, stir-fry ash
1, the slag in the pot is scraped to make the aluminum liquid and slag basically completely separated, and the slag on the surface layer is scraped in a designated place, and the aluminum liquid in the pot is scraped out after cooling, and then it is put into the furnace again. Vii. alloying
1. Take furnace samples and send them to the laboratory for analysis.
2. After the analysis results of furnace samples come out, immediately calculate the addition amount of alloying elements and weigh them for alloying operation.
3. At 735℃-755℃, firstly, add silicon seeds into the melt, fully stir, then add magnesium ingots, and press the magnesium ingots with a spatula, and do not allow them to float out of the surface to prevent burning loss until the magnesium is completely melted. Fully stirring, and heating the aluminum liquid to 73-75 DEG C for refining.
VIII. Refining
1. Prepare the refining tank, refining agent, nitrogen and other tools, and check whether the refining pipe (seamless pipe) is unblocked;
2. When the refining agent is put in, N2 should be continuously introduced into the refining tube to completely remove the residual refining agent in the tube, then the refining tube should be evacuated from the aluminum liquid, and then N2 should be closed.
3. After slag is removed from refining, samples are taken from the core of the melt for after-furnace analysis, and only when the samples are qualified can they enter casting.
