Taizhou College of Nanjing Normal University was approved by the Ministry of Education in June 2004, and was founded by Nanjing Normal University and Taizhou Municipal People's Government in cooperation with "2 1 1 Project" school. The college mainly trains undergraduate applied talents such as literature, science, economics, management, engineering, art and teacher education. There are 24 undergraduate majors in Chinese, English and economic management. By 2009, the number of students will reach 10000.
