Glorious Wrath was a play of mine many years ago. At that time, the review had been a failure, so I put it aside for the time being. I finally got a chance to shoot this year. In fact, the story of this film is very simple, the plot is simple and the promotion is direct. Although I am very nervous, this is only the surface, not what I want to say. I'm interested in a state. When a small individual struggles under strong oppression, it shows a state of cunning, hesitation, anxiety and even tragedy. This state is very vivid, I like it, because it has texture and realism!

This is what I want to do in this movie.

Oppression and oppression are an inevitable part of human existence, just like the inevitable existence of love and being loved, but its quality is different in different people and different environments. Wrath of Glory shows a group of very small people, but the ways of oppression and oppression are not small.

Rhythm is the muscle of the film. I hope that the final style of Wrath of Glory is very sharp, so we give up the deliberate exquisiteness on the camera and seek its roughness instead, including a lot of hand-held photography, approaching pictures, clean editing methods and urgent narration. Subjectively speaking, I don't want the audience to have a break in this movie. I want to create a sense of oppression.
