What does an e-commerce division do?
With the rise of e-commerce teachers, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security formulated the national professional standard of e-commerce teachers in 2003, which listed e-commerce teachers as the official national professional sequence, providing a scientific and standardized basis for vocational education and training.
Occupation definition: a professional who uses modern information technology such as computer technology and network technology to engage in business activities.
Professional content: E-commerce Division is a practitioner who helps businesses to complete business transactions with customers or businesses through a professional online business platform.
Occupation grade: 1. E-commerce clerk (national vocational qualification level 4); 2. Assistant e-commerce division (national vocational qualification level 3); 3. E-commerce division (national vocational qualification level 2); 4. Senior e-commerce division (national vocational qualification level 1).
First, the basic quality and classification of e-commerce
E-commerce division is a compound high-quality talent. Therefore, the e-commerce department must have comprehensive ability, that is to say, it must have certain IT technology and good business operation ability, including e-commerce operation ability, website construction (non-technical construction) and maintenance ability, business information analysis and processing ability, network marketing ability, rich business knowledge and system planning ability, including basic knowledge such as computer network application, e-commerce, e-payment, e-commerce logistics distribution and e-commerce security.
At present, domestic e-commerce personnel can be divided into the following categories: the first category is junior e-commerce personnel who occupy the mainstream position in the current market. These talents often have higher technical content on the internet, but their marketing ability may be lacking, which needs further introduction and training; The second kind of intermediate e-commerce talents often have stronger marketing ability, but they need further training and guidance in IT technology. The third category belongs to senior e-commerce talents, who have the overall operation ability of e-commerce projects and rich practical experience in e-commerce. At present, such talents are extremely scarce. Once the company can successfully introduce them, it can quickly enter the role and avoid wasting time, money and energy. There are still many junior talents in the field of e-commerce now. However, with the increase of international trade and e-commerce activities, these junior talents can no longer meet the growing development of e-commerce and the Internet, and more high-end e-commerce talents are needed to intervene.
Second, the status of e-commerce practitioners
With the prosperity of the economic market, more and more enterprises actively apply e-commerce and establish their own e-commerce platforms, but there is a shortage of e-commerce talents in China at present. According to the different job responsibilities and comprehensive ability, the monthly salary of e-commerce professional posts is about 3,000 yuan to 8,000 yuan, and with the increasing prosperity of e-commerce industry, there is still room for substantial improvement in the professional salary level. Under the huge market demand, e-commerce talents have become a very sought-after occupation in the workplace, which also gives practitioners with this qualification enough reasons to wait for the price. However, at present, the employment rate of e-commerce graduates in China is only 20%, which is far lower than the employment rate of 70% of college graduates in China. There are many reasons for the low employment rate of e-commerce graduates in China, mainly as follows:
(A) personnel training is not in place, the training direction is vague
The fundamental reason for this situation lies in the lack of education and training of e-commerce talents in colleges and universities. On the one hand, a large number of students majoring in e-commerce can't find jobs, on the other hand, a large number of enterprises, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, can't find suitable e-commerce talents, which has caused serious dislocation. Many schools can't make clear the future employment direction of their e-commerce talents. Their training goal is broad, with "all-round" as the application goal, but it does not meet the professional and practical needs of China enterprises for e-commerce talents at present. The e-commerce students trained are better than learning computer and software technology, and better than learning management and marketing business. E-commerce talents are compound talents. Nowadays, many colleges and universities often choose only a few courses from management, marketing and computer, and then choose several courses such as introduction to e-commerce. There must be something wrong with the students trained in this way. Only with clear positioning and clear objectives can we innovate the traditional talent training mode and cultivate professionals with strong adaptability, distinctive features and outstanding skills according to the characteristics and requirements of e-commerce posts, which are "zero distance" from the application of e-commerce in enterprises.
(B) the understanding of the supply and demand sides is biased
Although graduates indicate their e-commerce major in their resumes, recruitment companies rarely explicitly write such positions as "e-commerce major" in recruitment positions. In fact, for many enterprises, e-commerce professionals are needed for jobs including information investigation, market planning, marketing, international trade, network computer technology, finance and administration, but these enterprises do not list the word "e-commerce" in their job descriptions. Because graduates don't understand the application status and development prospects of e-commerce in all walks of life, they give up submitting resumes if they can't find the word "e-commerce"; Even if it is sent, it is a helpless choice as a professional mismatch.
(C) the practice link is out of line with the needs of enterprises
At present, many colleges and universities have only set up a simple e-commerce laboratory, so it is difficult for students to experience and operate it in person, and it is difficult to combine theory with practice. The trained students can only talk but not do, which makes it difficult for enterprises to find suitable e-commerce talents. Therefore, firstly, make full use of free resources on the Internet and some open enterprise teaching platforms to establish communication channels between students and enterprises, so that students can get in touch with real e-commerce activities as soon as possible, and form a long-term cooperation and mutual support resource environment among enterprises, schools and students. Second, we should introduce enterprise personnel into teaching, and shorten the time for students to adapt to their jobs after graduation through the teaching of first-line practical experience. Summing up the above two points can help job seekers to get closer to the requirements of the enterprise and not be divorced from the requirements of the enterprise.
Third, the development prospects of e-commerce division
According to statistics, in 2005, the e-commerce transaction volume in China reached 740 billion yuan, up 50% year-on-year. Online shopping users reached 22 million, an increase of 6 million. There are 8.7 million registered enterprises in China, including more than 654.38 million large and medium-sized enterprises. After China's entry into WTO, more and more China enterprises are actively developing international e-commerce applications. Many domestic enterprises have a new understanding of the importance of e-commerce, and all want to establish their own e-commerce platform to realize the transformation from traditional commerce to modern commerce. The development of e-commerce industry will be very fast in the future. It can be seen that there will be a huge gap in compound talents who can integrate modern information technology into modern enterprise management and have practical operation ability. According to the statistics of the national labor and social security department, there are only hundreds of thousands of e-commerce employees in China at present. Experts predict that in the next 10 year, there will be more than 2 million e-commerce talents in China! Therefore, e-commerce practitioners will have broad career prospects.
