Introduction

Putian Museum was designed by the Architectural Design Institute of Tongji University. The main building consists of a four-story main exhibition hall and a four-story auxiliary exhibition hall. The main exhibition hall and the auxiliary exhibition hall are connected by a steel bridge corridor, which is a major feature.

Putian Museum has a collection of more than 10,000 cultural relics, including ceramics, bronzes, jades, bamboo and wood carvings, stone tools, calligraphy and paintings, etc. It has a complete range of categories, including 1,378 precious cultural relics of grade three or above. The first-class astronomical map of the Ming Dynasty and more than 200 Mazu cultural relics represented by the Qing Dynasty are the materials for Putian to build a world Mazu cultural center.

There are many cultural relics about Mazu culture in the museum, as well as many utensils and scenes of folk culture. The local cultural heritage is worth seeing and experiencing.
