There are two ways to apply for a new car: self-handling and agency. If you buy a car in a 4S store, you can only choose an agent, because 4S stores don't allow you to apply for it yourself. If you buy a car at a secondary dealer, you can choose to handle it yourself or you can handle it yourself.

The process of licensing:

1, vehicle inspection

When picking up a car in a 4S shop or dealer, it is essential to check the car. The specific method of checking the car is not detailed here. The main point here is that all materials, including invoices and certificates, should be brought with you when you pick up the car.

2. Go to the vehicle management office to get the license.

If you choose to get the license yourself, the vehicle can't legally go on the road before getting the license, so you need to hire a trailer to help drag it to the vehicle management office.

Step 3 pay insurance premiums

Next, go to the IRS to pay the vehicle purchase tax. Where should the new car be licensed? Then go to the IRS in that place to pay the vehicle purchase tax. To pay the vehicle purchase tax, you need to provide your ID card and its copy, the car purchase invoice (tax return), the original certificate and its copy, and the tax return. If it is an imported vehicle, it is also necessary to provide the customs import certificate and its copy, the commodity inspection list and its copy.

4. Criminal investigation and inspection

This step includes the inspection of the vehicle and the inspection of relevant information, mainly to see if there are any changes, chisel out the engine number and frame number, and whether there are any records of theft and robbery. New and used cars need criminal investigation. The vehicle criminal investigation inspection needs a copy of the collection form, driving license and ID card, and the unit vehicle needs a copy of the unit certificate, the authorization certificate of the entrusted agent and the unit code certificate.
