(4) Most circuit boards are covered with solder resist, so when measuring, you should find the corresponding solder points as test points. Do not remove the solder film. Some boards are all covered with insulating layers. Use a razor blade to scrape off the insulation layer at the solder joints.

(5) Printed circuits should not be cut off at will. Some maintenance personnel have certain experience in repairing home appliances and are used to checking for broken wires. However, most of the circuit boards on CNC equipment are double-sided metal orifice boards or multi-layer perforated boards. The printed circuits are thin and dense. Once cut, it is difficult to weld and the lines are cut. Sometimes it is easy to cut off adjacent lines, and at some points, when cutting a certain line, it cannot be separated from the line, and it is necessary to cut several lines at the same time.

(6) Components should not be replaced at will. Some maintenance personnel just rely on the feeling that a component is broken without confirming the faulty component, and immediately replace it. This has a high misjudgment rate and a high rate of human damage to the removed components.

(7) When disassembling components, you should use a solder suction device and a solder suction rope, and avoid taking them by force. The same pad should not be heated for a long time and disassembled repeatedly to avoid damage to the pad.

(8) When replacing a new device, its pins should be properly processed, and acidic soldering oil should not be used during welding.

(9) Record the switches and jumper positions on the line and do not change them at will. When performing a comparative inspection on two poles or above, or when exchanging components, be sure to mark the components on each board to avoid confusion, which may cause a good board to fail to work.

(10) Check the power supply configuration and type of the circuit board. According to the needs of the inspection, power can be supplied separately or all. Pay attention to high voltage. Some circuit boards are directly connected to high voltage, or there is a high voltage generator inside the board, which needs to be properly insulated. Special attention should be paid during operation.

Finally, I feel that we should not stick to the old rules when it comes to maintenance. We must combine theoretical things with the actual local conditions at that time, broaden our minds, analyze step by step, and eliminate them one by one until we find the real cause of the fault.
