Yuexiu Group is a state-owned enterprise. The full name of Yuexiu Group is Guangzhou Yuexiu Group Co., Ltd., which was established in Hong Kong on 1985. 1992, the company split its three wholly-owned subsidiary real estate companies in Hong Kong, Macau and Guangzhou, and established Yuexiu Investment Co., Ltd., which was successfully listed in Hong Kong, becoming the ninth China red chip company listed in Hong Kong at that time. 1997 Yuexiu Transport was split from Yuexiu Group and became the first infrastructure stock listed in Hong Kong in China.

The company has formed a "4+X" modern industrial system with finance, real estate, transportation infrastructure and food as the core industries, traditional industries such as papermaking and strategic emerging industries that may enter in the future.
