Shape the sunshine mentality
Master the twelve tools of changing attitude, enjoying the process, living in the present, learning to be grateful, comparing downward, creating happiness with heart, adversity quotient, creating environment, emotional independence, arousing people without arousing others, improving emotional intelligence and consciousness, and you will have a sunny attitude. With the improvement of people's social status and the increase of wealth, life satisfaction is declining. We often feel that we have more and more, but less and less happiness; There are more and more ways to communicate, but there are fewer and fewer in-depth exchanges; More and more people know each other, but fewer and fewer sincere friends. What is the reason? It's our mentality that has gone wrong.
If your room is full of fire, you can release light and heat; If the heart is a piece of ice, even if it melts, it is still zero. Only when the heart is full of heat can the heat be released. Shaping the sunshine mentality means that we can establish positive values, get a healthy life and release strong influence.
Adjust the mentality and pursue happiness.
A good attitude can affect the development of individuals, families, teams and organizations, and ultimately affect the progress of society. A good attitude can make you successful, and a bad attitude can also ruin you. Therefore, only with a good attitude can we gain health and enhance our ability.
1989 the world health organization (who) defines health as: health includes physical health, mental health, social adaptation and moral health. The famous psychologist Maslow once said that there are three standards for health; Sufficient sense of self-security, realistic life ideal and good interpersonal relationship. If you always complain about people around you, you should adjust your mentality.
Why should we adjust our mentality? Because emotions have a great destructive effect on people's health.
Human beings have nine basic emotions; Interest, pleasure, surprise, sadness, disgust, anger, fear, contempt, shame. Interest and pleasure are positive, surprise is neutral and the other six items are negative. It can be seen that the negative emotions of human beings account for an absolute majority, and we often unconsciously enter a state of letting go of bad emotions. And emotions are bipolar; A good mood gives you upward motivation, makes you happy, calm, calm, full of vitality and creates harmony; And a bad mood will make you sad, pessimistic, disappointed, depressed and even decadent. When you are in a bad mood, you may lose your temper with your colleagues, be unwilling to cooperate with others' work, and your interpersonal relationship will be tense. This kind of bad mood will spread in the organization like the plague in the sheep, which will lead to interpersonal tension in the group.
Aristotle said, "The essence of life lies in the pursuit of happiness." There are two ways to make life happy: one is to find time to make yourself happy and increase it; Second, find the time that makes you unhappy and reduce it. By shaping the sunshine mentality, we want to mobilize two positive emotions, interest and pleasure, so that everyone is always in a positive mood.
Twelve Tools for Shaping Sunshine Mentality
Someone once made a survey: 122 heart patients, 2 1 22 of the most pessimistic 25 people died, and 6 of the most optimistic 25 people died. So come to the conclusion that optimists live long. A positive attitude is like the sun, shining on it; Negative Mentality We use twelve tools-changing attitude, enjoying the process, living in the present, learning to be grateful, comparing downward, creating happiness with heart, adversity quotient, creating environment, emotional independence, arousing others instead of others, improving emotional intelligence and consciousness and creating sunshine mentality. Due to the limitation of space, this paper only introduces one of the tools.
Tool 1: change attitude
When we can't change something, we change our attitude towards it. A person's injury because of what happened is not as important as his opinion about it. If we are hurt by other people's words, it is your thinking that hurts us. Sometimes the thing itself is not important, what matters is our attitude towards it. When attitudes change, things will change. There is an idiom in China called "A blessing in disguise is a blessing in disguise", which tells us a very simple truth. There are no absolute good or bad things in the world, they are just things. In this way, people will become more free and easy and plain. Mentality can change fate. In ancient times, two scholars, A and B, met a coffin on the way to catch the exam. A said, "What bad luck! I met a coffin, and this time I'm dead. " B said: "coffin, promotion and wealth, it seems that my luck has come, and I will definitely be admitted this time." When they answered the questions, their efforts were different, and as a result, B was admitted. When I got home, I told my wife that the coffin was really smart. Mentality may affect people's ability and their destiny. People who are sad inside will also have a sad fate, and those who are positive inside can make positive changes. The quality of life depends on your daily state of mind. If you can guarantee that you have a good mood now, you can get a good mood today. If you can keep a good mood every day, you will get a high quality of life.
Tool 2: Enjoy the process
Life is a bracket, the left bracket is life, and the right bracket is death. All we have to do is fill in the brackets. Fill the brackets with colorful things. Dali, an ancient city in China, is rich in products, pleasant in climate and slow in people's life. Once, an English gentleman saw the leisurely life of people here and asked an old lady, "Madam, why is the pace of people's life here always slow?" The old lady replied, "Sir, what do you think is the final result of people?" The gentleman thought for a moment and said, "It is death." The old lady said, "Since you are dead, what are you busy with?" Life is a process, not a result. We need to learn to enjoy life. A person's life is like traveling, and memory is like photography. Attention determines choice, choice determines content, starting from the origin and then returning to the original origin. There are two people, A and B, watching the scenery. At first, you looked at me, too Both of them are very happy. Later, A was a little clever and walked faster than B, and took a look at the scenery earlier than B. At first glance, how can you take a look before me and walk faster than A? So they walked faster and faster, and finally they ran away. Originally, I came to see the scenery, but now it has become a competition. I didn't see the scenery for a while, and finally both of them regretted it. The essence of life lies in the pursuit of happiness, not the result of games. Don't miss the beautiful scenery along the way in pursuit of results. There is nothing wrong with pursuing perfection, but it is not worth the loss to pursue for the purpose.
Tool 3: Live in the moment.
The real meaning of living in the present comes from Zen. Someone asked a Zen master, what is it to live in the present? The Zen master replied that eating is eating and sleeping is sleeping. It's called living in the present. We ask ourselves, what is the most important thing for ourselves? Who is the most important person? What time is the most important? Some people may say that the most important thing is to get promoted, get rich, buy a house and a car, the most important people are parents, lovers and children, and the most important timetable is the college entrance examination, graduation defense and wedding. I'm telling you, none of these things exist. The most important thing is what you do now. The most important person is the person you are with now. The most important time is now. This view is called living in the present. One was chased by a tiger. He ran so hard that he accidentally fell off the cliff. He was quick of eye and load, grabbed a crutch and hung himself in mid-air. He raised his head and the tiger stared at him from above; He looked down and the abyss was waiting for him; He looked in the middle and suddenly found a ripe strawberry next to the rattan. Now, the man has three choices: go up, go down and eat strawberries hanging in the air. How does he choose? He chose to eat strawberries. This is a Zen story. The mentality of eating strawberries is to live in the present. What you can catch now is that strawberry, so you should eat it. Only by grasping the present can we connect the past and the future. Instead of being depressed by regretting the past and worrying about the future, it is better to firmly grasp the present. Therefore, do a good job now, do your best if you can, and put it down if you can't. This is not mediocrity, but tells us to calm down and not let the unhappiness of the past and the worries of standing in the future take away your happiness now. Only in this way can we achieve the future.
Tool 4: Learn to be grateful
When recruiting college students, business owners always look at whether they are filial to their parents, thinking that if they are not filial to their parents, they will not be loyal to the company. Therefore, to learn to be grateful, we must first thank our parents. There is also a proverb in the west: it is better to eat vegetables with love than beef with resentment. Westerners are used to thanking those who have helped themselves on Thanksgiving Day. Now we also advocate sending condolences to all those who have helped, supported and cared about you, thanking them for their concern. After this chain reaction is formed, interpersonal relationships will become more harmonious. Gratitude is a philosophy and wisdom of life. Learn to be grateful for what you have and what life has given you, so that you can have a positive outlook on life and a healthy attitude.
The tool is: if you can't compare up, you can compare down.
In most cases, we will agree with the argument that "soldiers who don't want to be generals are not good soldiers, and sailors who don't want to be captains are not good sailors." We also think that "not as good as the last one is more than the next one" is a slightly derogatory description, but sometimes we still have to make a downward comparison. When things don't go well, we often complain about our bad luck, because our eyes only see where others are better than ourselves, and the gap between them is really unpleasant. However, maybe at some point, we were once the envy of others. Once upon a time, there was a beggar who complained that he had no clothes to wear and no right to eat. On weekdays, he has to beg everywhere to make a living. But another beggar shrank by the side of the road and said, "At least your legs and feet are sound." Not only can the beggar not walk, but he is even blind. But he is very satisfied, because living has made him very satisfied. There is also a widely circulated post on the Internet: a monkey is climbing a tree, looking up is full of monkey's ass, looking down is full of monkey's smiling face, and looking left and right is full of monkey's eyes and ears. The suggestion is, I wish you less monkey ass and more monkey smiling faces in your life. This story encourages people to climb up. The higher they climb, the more smiling faces monkeys get. Therefore, when necessary, learn to compromise. If going up is more painful, then going down is more satisfying.
Tool 6: Heaven and hell are all made by heart.
Measuring a person's happiness or not has nothing to do with wealth, status and power in essence. Happiness is determined by thoughts and mentality. The heart can create heaven or hell. A Japanese samurai asked an old Zen master, "Master, what is heaven? What is hell? " The old Zen master gave him a contemptuous look and said, "You are a vulgar person, and you don't deserve to talk to me about Heaven at all." The samurai was angered, pulled out his knife and put it around the old Zen master's neck, shouting, "Bad old man, I will kill you!" " "The old Zen master said quietly," This is hell. " Wu samurai knew that anger was hell, so he put the knife back in his shell. The old Zen master said calmly, "This is heaven. "Samurai understand that a good mood is heaven. Hu Maoyuan, chairman of SAIC, once told a story of heaven and hell. He said that God took a man to hell and found that everyone in hell was bony. They drink porridge with spoons. The handle of the spoon is very long, but the head is very small. The porridge scooped out is sprinkled on the ground in Dujiangyan City. Finally, there was no porridge in the bucket, and everyone complained and hated each other. God took the man to heaven again, only to find that the people here were chubby and smiling. They eat the same porridge with the same spoon, but they scoop it out and feed it to others. You feed me, I feed you. As a result, everyone ate porridge. This tells us that we should be kind to people around us and learn to be happy for small things, so that there will be more gratifying things. After others help you, thank him and appreciate him, and more and better things will happen. If you turn others into demons, you are creating hell; If you can treat others as angels, you will live in heaven. How can we turn others into angels? Learn to be grateful, appreciative, giving and tolerant.
Tool 7: Learn to bend when the pressure is too great.
There is such a case: a couple in Canada always quarrel and are on the verge of divorce. So they decided to travel to save their marriage. When they came to a north-south valley in Quebec, they were surprised to find that the east slope of the valley was covered with all kinds of trees, while the west slope was only cedar. Why can only cedar survive on the west slope? Later, the two found that although there was heavy snow on the western slope, the branches of cedar were soft. If there was more snow, the branches would bend, and the snow would naturally fall, and the branches would return to their original state. Other trees are stiff, and finally the branches will be crushed by snow and the trees will die. The husband and wife suddenly understood that people should learn to bend over when facing pressure. The husband quickly reviewed to his wife: "It's all my fault, I didn't do it right." As soon as the wife listened to her husband's review, she immediately said, "I didn't do enough." So the two made up. It can be seen that no matter how sharp the knife is, it is useless to break it when touched. We might as well learn from Tai Chi in China's traditional culture. Learn ancient coins, the outer ring is inside. -
Change attitude, enjoy life, live in the present, learn to be grateful, compare downward, bend appropriately and create happiness. If you can do this, you can have a sunny attitude and experience your own happiness every day.
