I am making aluminum art gates and aluminum fences. I don’t know what processing needs to be done before aluminum spraying.

The treatment before spraying is mainly to remove oil, dust, and rust on the surface of the workpiece, and to form a "phosphating layer" on the surface of the workpiece that resists corrosion and can increase the adhesion of the spray coating. There are two common pre-treatment methods: immersion type and spray type. The immersion type requires multiple soaking tanks; spraying requires setting up a spray line on the spraying line.
