After working for several years, I can finally show my brothers and sisters what I can write, determine my own direction early, make relevant preparations, and give myself more survival competitiveness. Generally speaking, students in our major can take several paths:

1, into the design institute. Including local planning and design institutes, architectural design institutes, landscape design institutes and municipal design institutes, as well as more specialized design institutes under the central departments such as the Ministry of Water Resources, the Ministry of Communications, the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Space. The work will be focused on the tasks of the hospital.

For example, in planning and design institutes and landscape design institutes, there are generally some macroscopic green space system planning, scenic spot planning and tourism planning. Some of these design institutes have been thoroughly reformed or well managed, and there are many projects in landscape scheme design and construction drawing design, which are not necessarily true; In the architectural design institute, some have independent landscape design rooms, and some can only match the landscape for the architectural scheme.

Students who want to go should ask more questions, and it is best to go to an internship. Because the treatment of design institutes is different, some are rich and busy, some are rich and idle, some are poor and idle. Although leisure is the ultimate pursuit, it is not necessarily a good thing for young people. It is also good to accumulate some experience in poor places first, but it is difficult for some hospital social workers to enter.

2. Landscape design company. There are two kinds. Specialized garden and landscape design companies can do scheme and construction drawing design, and others can even do construction together. Joining such a company can really greatly enhance the design ability.

You will get a lot of knowledge about materials, technology, cost, effect and engineering organization. If you want to go to a real estate company in the future, you will become a sought-after professional. Other companies started from planning and construction, and now they also do landscape. Generally, only schemes are made or schemes and bids are mainly made. I was bored when I was doing this job, and my sense of accomplishment was a little poor. But it is also good for people who like designing, drawing and have strong aesthetic ability, but have no patience to deal with details. There is a great demand for such talents in the market. Although I personally think that design should be based on the understanding of materials, technology and cost.

3, into the real estate company, which is commonly known as "Party A". Mainly for bidding operation, site construction control, design coordination, and sometimes you need to undertake the design tasks yourself. Some people say that if you go to a real estate company, your major will be abolished. Actually, it's not. Although a real estate designer may not do many specific designs and draw many drawings, you should know that design is all-round.

From site selection and development orientation to appearance design to technical scheme formulation and later management and maintenance, the final effect is more controlled by developers than designers, because there is no architect responsibility system in China, and designers are more responsible for design consultation. Therefore, if you really want to make a good garden, it may be better to be a part of the developer directly.

4. Infrastructure departments of enterprises and institutions. Such units are often beyond our imagination. I have been in contact with rocket launchers, design institutes, urban greening offices, colleges and universities, and the work may be boring, generally belonging to rich leisure or poor leisure. If it is a big state organ, there are many infrastructure projects, such as greening offices and colleges and universities, which basically belong to the position of providing for the aged for girls. The recruitment of such units is relatively small, so it may be necessary to pay attention to the recruitment information of the school and the social resources of parents.

5. Civil servants. The Bureau of Landscape Architecture, Urban Construction Bureau, Planning Bureau, National Land and so on are all relevant departments. The specific situation is not clear, mainly the exam, but it is said that it is also important to find a relationship.

6. Site construction technology and management personnel of landscape engineering company and landscape material equipment company. Suitable for boys who don't like to sit in an office; Some design consulting companies and sales of garden materials and equipment such as seedlings, building materials, fountains and lawns are actually good choices.

7. Cultural heritage research. In particular, the preservation and utilization of classical gardens and sites are good and can play a special role. However, such units are relatively few.

8. Garden plants. Nurseries, research institutes, etc.

Students should think about what they want and what they can do from now on, and then start to work hard. When I was in college, I was at a loss I didn't make any preparations for continuing my studies and work at all, and I also went to travel during the holidays. Now that I think about it, I should go to the internship.

I don't know if this is still the case. I entered the school in 2002 and started landscape design and architectural design in my junior year. There are also specialized courses in computer aided design. Landscape design only lasts for two semesters, usually designing a community and designing a square is gone. Many students haven't felt it after learning these two courses. Because there are too many college students now, consider yourself a technical school student first. First of all, we should practice basic skills, such as CAD, Photoshop, sketch up, or hand drawing. Generally, you have to understand these things and do some work before people will let you practice. Then, you can start designing things.
