The service hours for Dongguan Railway Station are 6:30-23:05; the service hours for Humen Railway Station are 6 on weekdays : 30-22:30, service hours on non-working days are 6:30-23:00. Non-working days are ordinary weekends and holidays (including holidays and days off), and the rest are working days.

Working days: 7:00-9:00, 17:00-19:00 is the peak period, 21:30-23:05 is the off-peak period, and other periods are off-peak periods.

Holidays (including holidays and days off): 10:00-20:00 is the peak period, and other periods are off-peak periods. Ordinary weekends: 14:00-20:00 is the peak period, and other periods are off-peak hours.

The driving interval is about 6 minutes during peak hours, about 8 minutes during off-peak hours, and about 9 minutes during off-peak hours.

Dongguan Rail Transit Line 2 starts from Dongguan Railway Station and passes through Shilong Town, Chashan Town, Guancheng Street, Dongcheng Street, Nancheng Street, Houjie Town and Humen Town end at Humen Railway Station, running roughly in a north-south direction.

The total length of Dongguan Rail Transit Line 2 is 37.743 kilometers, including 33.730 kilometers of underground section, 3.589 kilometers of elevated section, and 0.424 kilometers of transition section; ***15 stations, including underground stations 14 seats and 1 elevated station; it adopts 6-car B-type subway trains.

As of May 27, 2021, Dongguan Rail Transit Line 2 has completed its fifth anniversary of operation. A total of 497,680 trains have been operated, with an operating mileage of 17.71 million train kilometers, and a total of 212 million passengers have been transported daily.
