What is a vacuum sucker?

Vacuum sucker, also known as vacuum expander, is the executive part of vacuum adsorption device. Vacuum adsorption is a very easy transfer technology. Using vacuum technology to adjust, control and monitor can effectively improve the efficiency of workpieces and parts in automatic and semi-automatic production. In addition, vacuum adsorption has the advantages of clean adsorption, stability and reliability, and no damage to the surface of the adsorbed object, so vacuum adsorption technology is widely used in various fields.

Adsorption principle of vacuum sucker

The vacuum chuck adopts the vacuum principle, that is, the workpiece is "sucked" by vacuum negative pressure to achieve the purpose of clamping the workpiece. As shown in figure 1

As shown in the figure, the vent is connected to the vacuum generator. When the vacuum generator is started, the vent is ventilated, and the air in the suction cup is pumped away, forming the pressure of P2.

Vacuum state. At this time, the air pressure in the suction cup is lower than that outside the suction cup, that is, P2.

P 1, the workpiece is sucked up under external pressure. The higher the vacuum degree inside the sucker, the stronger the adhesion between the sucker and the workpiece.
