Nanchong Refinery is not environmentally friendly, and its site no longer meets a series of current urban planning and industrial layout requirements. Nanchong, also known as Fruit City and Silk Capital, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, a central city in the northern part of Chengdu-Chongqing region, an important node city in the Belt and Road strategy, and an important node city in the northeast Sichuan urban agglomeration.
