Jining City is located in the southwest of Shandong Province, at the junction of East China and North China, Shandong Peninsula and Central Plains, and the Yangtze River and Yellow River basins. Linyi City in the east, Heze City in the west, Zaozhuang City and Xuzhou City in Jiangsu Province in the south, Tai 'an City in the north and Liaocheng District across the Yellow River in the northwest.

Jining Economic and Technological Development Zone is located about 7 kilometers west of Jining main city and 4 kilometers away from Jiaxiang County. The newly-built Yanshi Railway passes through the territory, and the Xuji Expressway runs through the north and south. National Highway 327 (west section of Jining Avenue) and National Highway 105 (west second ring road) pass through, and the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal flows through the northeast of the park. Chengxiang Avenue, Lan Yan Road and Ceng Zi Avenue pass through the core area and become important nodes in the integrated development of Jijia.

Intercity bus, urban bus and Jiaxiang bus meet here, and Jining Rail Transit Line 2 under construction will also lead to Jiaxiang. An omni-directional, multi-level and three-dimensional traffic pattern has been formed.
