What kind of work is industrial design major suitable for?

Industrial design majors in different schools have different preferences. One is partial to industry and the other is partial to design.

But don't be frightened by the word industry. The word industrial design has been discussed for a long time in China. Its theoretical core and academic focus are "design", but the prefix "industry" has not been removed until now, because the main carrier of "design science" is "industrial production". In order to avoid this carrier being despised and neglected, industrial design specialty is named as design specialty.

No matter the major of industrial design that is biased towards industry or the major of industrial design that is biased towards design, the theoretical core is the methodology of industrial design, so the way out is relatively the same.
