Introduction to Xiko Town

Xike Town is affiliated to Tong'an District, Xiamen City, Fujian Province. It is a town under the jurisdiction of Tong'an District. It is located in the southern part of Tong'an District, Xiamen City, between 24°40′2.24″ north latitude and 118°09′29.87″ east longitude. It borders Tong'an Bay to the east, Jimei District to the south, and Xiangping Street to the north. Shenhai Expressway, Tongji Road, National Highway 324, and Binhai West Avenue pass through the town and are important gateways to the Xiamen Special Economic Zone. Xike Town is located near the mountains and the sea, with a flat terrain, a total administrative area of ??39.69 square kilometers, and a coastline of 14.5 kilometers. 1Xike Town has jurisdiction over 2 administrative villages and 13 communities, with a total population of 121,300 (2015). As of 2014, Xike Town has achieved a total fiscal revenue of 860 million yuan. Xike Town has Bingzhou Island, Lin Xiyuan’s Tomb and other attractions.
