As of November 16, 2021, the entire single trip of Lanzhou Rail Transit Line 1 Running time is approximately 45 minutes. The maximum number of trains on the line during peak hours on weekdays is 17, the minimum running interval is 4 minutes and 50 seconds, and the average running interval is 6 minutes and 20 seconds; during the off-peak period, the number of trains on the line is 12, and the average running interval is 8 minutes and 30 seconds. There is a flat peak on weekends, with 13 trains on the line and a train interval of 7 minutes and 50 seconds.

On February 15, 2022, in order to ensure citizens’ travel needs at night during the Lantern Festival, Lanzhou Rail Transit Line 1 will extend its operating hours by 1 hour in the evening, and additional passenger trains will operate in the east and west directions after 22:30. There are 3 trains, the running intervals are 15 minutes, 20 minutes, and 25 minutes respectively, and the departure times are 22:45, 23:05, and 23:30.

Historical evolution of Lanzhou Metro Line 1:

On March 2, 2018, Lanzhou Rail Transit and China UnionPay officially signed a mobile payment cooperation agreement, marking that Lanzhou Rail Transit will achieve full Scenario mobile QuickPass and UnionPay QR code payment. On December 30, the first phase project of Lanzhou Rail Transit Line 1 held a launching ceremony for "dongtong", "rail connection", "dentong" and comprehensive joint debugging.

On April 15, 2019, Lanzhou Rail Transit Line 1 completed the comprehensive joint debugging and testing of the entire line. On June 23, the first phase of Lanzhou Rail Transit Line 1 officially opened for trial operation.
