Introduction to Nanjing Trams

Nanjing Tram is the tram system of Nanjing City. Nanjing is the first city in Jiangsu to open trams and the second city in East China to open trams after Shanghai. As of August 2014, *** includes two lines, namely Nanjing Hexi Tram and Nanjing Qilin Tram. Among them, Hexi Tram was opened on August 1, 2014, and Qilin Tram is under construction. . The Hexi Tram is the first modern tram in Nanjing City and Jiangsu Province, the world’s first inter-regional contactless tram1, and China’s first “in-station charging” tram2. The total length of the Hexi tram line is 7.76 kilometers, with 13 stations, a maximum speed of 80 kilometers per hour, and a fare of 2 yuan.
