The column is made of wood, tall, with ears hanging on both sides. The building is large in scale and complete in composition. It is the birthplace of General Wu Shi. After Wu joined the revolution, this residence was the residence of his parents. Wu Shi once came back to live.

Wu Shi (1894— 1950) was born in Wucuo Village, Luozhou Township, Min County, Fujian Province (now Wucuo Village, Luozhou Town, Cangshan District, Fuzhou City). 19 1 1 After the outbreak of the Revolution of 1911, Wu Shi and his fellow countryman friend Wu Zhongxi joined the Northern Expedition Student Army in Fujian. Wushi 19 12 entered Wuchang Second Reserve Military Academy in August, and was elected to Baoding Army Military Academy two years later, which belongs to the third phase with Li Zongren, Bai Chongxi and Zhang Zhizhong. At the graduation ceremony in August, 19 16, Wu Shi addressed President Li as a graduate representative. The whole school is famous and known as the "No.1 scholar in Wu". From 65438 to 0934, when Wu Shi was the director of the General Staff, he had a good impression on the Communist Party of China (CPC) and advocated cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party and unity against Japan. 1August, 938, Wu Shi presided over the "Training Course for Battlefield Intelligence Staff" during the Wuhan Battle, and specially invited Zhou Enlai and Ye Jianying to personally explain guerrilla warfare, expressing deep admiration for the patriotic feelings of * * *. At the end of 1940, Wu Shi was promoted to the position of Chief of Staff of the Fourth Theater of the Anti-Japanese War because of his great victory in the Battle of Guinan. 1948, Wu Shi secretly joined the * * * organization through the introduction of Wu Zhongxi, an underground member of the Chinese Communist Party. Since then, it has provided a lot of extremely important military information for * *, and made great contributions to the great victory of Huaihai Campaign and Crossing the River Campaign. After the Huaihai Campaign, the Ministry of National Defense still kept 500 boxes of important military secret files. Bai Chongxi, Minister of National Defense, and Chen Cheng, Chief of Staff, advocated direct shipment to Taiwan Province Province. Wu Shi suggested temporarily moving the capital to Fuzhou on the grounds that "it is easy to return to Beijing when entering Beijing, and it is convenient to turn the turntable when leaving Beijing". The Kuomintang authorities adopted his suggestion and kept the confidential files in the hall of Yamazaki Temple. After the talks between Kuomintang and Communist Party broke down, Kuomintang authorities urged them to transport the files back to Taiwan Province as soon as possible. Wu Shi, under the pretext of "the shortage of military transportation and the difficulty of transshipment", ordered that more than 100 boxes of reference materials and military books should be regarded as top secret files, listed as the first batch and sent to Taiwan Province first. The remaining 298 boxes of confidential documents are kept in the library of Cangshan Fujian Research Institute. After the liberation of Fuzhou, Wang Qiang presented these 298 boxes of well-preserved top-secret Kuomintang military files to the headquarters of the 10th Corps of the People's Liberation Army. 1August, 997, these precious documents were photocopied and compiled into "External Compilation of Historical Materials of the Republic of China-Information Materials of Doomsday Institute". On the eve of the birth of New China, Wu Shi accepted the instructions of our party and went to Taiwan Province to carry out the secret task of reunifying the motherland. Before going to Taiwan Province, the East China Bureau of the Communist Party of China gave him a code name "Messenger No.1". After Wu Shi arrived in Taiwan, he took the post of Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ministry of National Defense. His activities are in the center of the enemy, and he works for our party in a sinister environment. His intelligence work is extremely fruitful. At the beginning of 1950, underground organizations in Taiwan Province province suffered great damage, and Wu Shi was arrested for being implicated. 1950, Wu Shi was killed by the Kuomintang authorities for "associating with communist party".

Due to the need of hidden front, the deeds of General Wu Shi have long been unknown. 1973, under the care of Premier Zhou Enlai and Marshal Ye Jianying, General Wu Shi was chased as a revolutionary martyr. In memory of General Wu Shi, the Red Cultural Base of General Wu Shi was set up in Wucuo Village, Luozhou Town on 20th/10th/7th to show the advanced deeds of General Wu Shi.

President Mao Zedong wrote a poem in his own handwriting praising: "The stormy waves beat the isolated island, and the blue waves reflected the dawn. The tiger's den hides the loyal soul, and the dawn welcomes the morning. " When he was young, he was once called "twelve gifted scholars": he could write, martial arts, poetry, calligraphy, painting, English, Japanese, horseback riding, shooting, driving and swimming. He was also the "No.1 Messenger" who shocked the highest level of the Kuomintang and was the highest-ranking general in China who broke into the Kuomintang.

The prototype of Yu Zecheng, the hero in the famous literary works and film and television drama "Latency", is Wu Shi, the hero of our party's secret front who was still obsessed with the great cause of the reunification of the motherland before his sacrifice!
