What is Shenzhen Institute of Certified Public Accountants?

Shenzhen Institute of Certified Public Accountants (https://www.szicpa.org/, official website), referred to as Shenzhen Institute of Certified Public Accountants for short, is a social organization composed of certified public accountants established in accordance with the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Certified Public Accountants and the Regulations of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone on Certified Public Accountants. It is a local organization of certified public accountants and an industry self-regulatory organization.

The main responsibilities of the Association are as follows:

1. Approve the registration of certified public accountants and conduct annual inspection of certified public accountants;

2. Formulate and amend the articles of association of the Municipal Institute of Certified Public Accountants according to law, and establish industry management systems such as disciplinary system and integrity file system;

3, reflect the opinions and requirements of the CPA industry, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of certified public accountants and accounting firms;

4. Check the qualification and quality of certified public accountants, punish those who violate professional standards and professional ethics, and hand them over to the municipal finance department for handling if they are suspected of violating the law and need to be given administrative punishment;

5, the organization of CPA qualification examination, continuing education and other training;

6. Coordinate the handling of internal disputes in the industry, and coordinate the relationship with government supervision departments and other relevant departments;

7. Organize business exchanges and foreign exchanges and other duties as stipulated by laws and regulations.
